« This was our second year staying in the train cars at Doolittle Station. Last year, we stayed in the Blue Caboose and this year in The Artiste. We prefer the Blue Caboose hands down over the Artiste. Cleaner, better laid out, and better stocked. In the layout of The Artiste, you walk into the living room, into the bathroom, then into the bedroom, and finally the kitchen. « The property has not been updated and features old carpet, broken screen doors and broken window blinds on top of a musty/moldy smell. The worst part was ice cold showers for the majority of our stay. The townhouse has a covered porch which was not usable due to the holes in the ceiling letting the pouring rain fall. Paper thin bath towels, cheap scratchy toilet paper and lumpy old pillows round out the cries for much needed TLC. »

« This was an interesting property. It was fun to stay in a converted railroad car. We were disappointed to see that most of the facilities on the property were not available. »

« It was a surprise for my husbands birthday. He loved it and said the icing on the cake was the dinosaurs. I wish everything thing would have been open. They don't tell you when making reservations that everything on property is closed. They should tell you that. He enjoyed it. »
