'Prima hotel voor korter verblijf, doorgang of enkele tochten in de buurt'

'Helaas niet bij the nut kunnen komen vanwege de weersomstandigheden, erg veel wind. Ook de pinguins lieten het afweten ,vanwege de harde wind. Uurtje gewacht, maar toen toch maar vertrokken. Leuk stadje met wat historische panden. Lekker eten, ook iets duurder, maar heerlijk'

'I stayed in the Ocean View Spa Room. It was very clean and exactly meet my needs for my short stay in Stanley. It was a quite period so not many people in the park. It was warm and cozy and the spa warmed me to my bones. The views of the ocean out the windows was great although a little hampered by the bushes opposite which i am guessing provides some privacy as there is a public pathway along the breakwall and it may serve as a small wind break. The most exciting thing was that you could view...

'The room was comfortable, however the smell from the bathroom was very bad. The staff attended to this promptly by cleaning the drain and offered us another room. All staff were very friendly and helpful in providing local information regarding our travel plans.'

'The apartment was much better than we had expected. Clean and comfortable but not luxurious. I don't like showers over the bath so that would be my only complaint. Otherwise, great value for money, lovely view.'

'Linen sheets didn’t feel or look clean, black cotton from towels went everywhere on floor, room 3 smelt dusty. The advert shows front cottage but this was not a true reflection of our booking. Priority is our hygiene and room is dust free'

'Hanlon Guest House is lovely. Stayed for two nights, and location is beautiful. We walked to cafes and restaurants and to the chairlift. Also penguins viewing platform is only metres away. The housekeeping staff are warm and friendly as well. Parking at front of property is so easy, as was checking in process.'

'Was well set up, especially the kitchen, so we were able to cook a nice steak. We were allocated a spa bath, but as I have a mobility problem, I opted for a ‘bird bath’. Lots of room &. plenty of blankets.'

'Greeted on our arrival by the lovely hosts Rebecca and Shaun. Rooms were amassing. We were in the Belvedere Room - it was presented beautifully! Spacious, lovely view out to the bay, luxurious touches, fantastic shower, comfortable bed and delicious hot breakfast prepared for us. Walking distance to restaurants, penguins and shops. Couldn't fault it. Highly recommend'

'Loved the peace and quiet. A lovely area. Great facilities and awesome walking paths. Bit of a shame that the restaurant is closed in winter, would have been great to have a steak.'

'Great little cabin on the lake had all the things needed for a one night stay to visit penguins. Nice and cosy, felt like you were staying at grandmas house'

'Stanley is the cutest town ever & so is the Ship Inn! Every single detail is so well thought about & you feel transported in time but with all the lovely luxuries of modern life! The bicycles are a nice touch & a great way to see the town! Thanks for a most beautiful stay!'

'First impression needs to be improved (weeds in front yard, rot on posts, pealing paint). Home has a lot of charm but furnishings could be updated. Would be a good space for family who don't mind an outdated feel.'

'Beautiful apartment on ground floor and a bonus that there was an adjacent apartment for our friends. Great for couples travelling together. Apartment was spacious and quiet location.'

'This stay was the highlight of our two week trip around Tasmania. Unfortunately we were only there for a night, but wish we'd stayed there for a week. Will be back.'

'Excellent stay, beautiful place'

'Excellent location with beautiful views of the nut and ocean. A stones throw away from all of Stanley’s lovely eateries. Beds are comfy and the heating was superb!'

'Modern luxury room friendly owner home made breakfast '
