'We had a great vacation! It was a short stay for us. Our kids would have loved to stay longer. We enjoyed the views of the lake and having a private beach area.'

'If you want a place with peace and tranquility, this is your place! Harlen is a great host and very responsive to any questions or concerns I may have had. I will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area!'

'It’s a very nice put together area. The outdoor spaces were perfect. The indoor areas were great as well.'

'Great location.'

'Property was clean and inviting and fit our needs perfectly. We enjoyed our stay, thanks!'

'We came August 3rd to 4th and wish we could stay longer. It’s absolutely beautiful. We seen a hawk go after a nest and several birds cawing loudly, finally it flew up and about 8 of them went after it! Pretty cool to see. Also lots of ducks swimming up river and then floating down, also very cool. Everything is brand new and very clean, fire pit is awesome! Jay is an Awesome host and we will be back! The Andersen’s'

'Loved the spacious apartment style - easy to relax in one space while others slept in. Beds were comfy, temperature was perfect even during an Iowa heatwave. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. (coffee in the cupboard!) Off street parking was a really nice perk. We will definitely be back! Almost forgot! The Koreana Japanese restaurant downstairs - perfect for a late night snack! 😋 (Along with beers from Pulpit Rock & Topling)'

'Simple, spacious, clean & convenient! Gave our family plenty of space to hang out, eat, sleep and get ready the day. Bonus that colorful flowers were blooming on the hillside.'

'Beautiful property with great amenities. Peaceful and clean stay for our family of four.'

'Great place! Quiet, spacious, comfortable beds, great communication from the owners/hosts... We already have our cabin booked again for some future stays! '

'We love Decorah for a weekend getaway from the Twin Cities and the Bluffside Gardens was the PERFECT place to stay. It was right off the trout run trail so we could go biking right from our room without having to drive anywhere. Easy access to downtown and the room was very spacious and clean. We will for sure be back next year!'

'The home is in a good location, beautifully designed and decorated in every corner, but usable shelf space is scarce in bedrooms and bathrooms especially. Hot tub was a nice feature and great way to relax. We had an elderly family member along who has limited mobility, and the main level bedroom/bathroom was a good option for them, though the bathroom could use a grab bar or two for even more accessibility. Mattresses are on the softer side (memory foam), which we found pretty comfortable,...

'Great location!'

'Fun cozy and unique The setting couldn’t be more beautiful. Enjoyed the amenities.'

'Nice quiet place, enjoyed out stay!'

'Clean and great location! I didn’t realize there were 4 apartments above Koreanna, which made it a bit noisy at times. There could be more furniture in the living room. The kitchen was minimalist—it had a toaster oven, toaster, microwave and small refrigerator. It sleeps 7.'

'Overall a nice place to stay in Decorah. A 200 yard walk to Dixie’s Biergarten which has excellent food. If you are looking to bike, you can start right from the house.'
