'Clean room. Beautiful river view. Quiet hotel. Great gym- loved the Peloton bike. Breakfast different each day - not bad. Great staff.'

'Yesterday we had a grumpy receptionist (young woman) who made us feel unwelcome. If we hadn’t paid already we would have left for another motel. Last night and this morning there were other receptionists who were nice and helpful. For this price we had a nice room, comfortable beds, okay breakfast, ease of stores and restaurants in walking distance. Although we feared loudness, I think the no locals rule prevented that. All in all it was a fine stay with exception of the welcome.'

'Room was very comfortable. The tv was not programmed properly so just used our iPads. Cynthia at check in was very welcoming, very personable! Our only disappointment was the pool. The room and water were too cold to enjoy, water looked a bit iffy. I didn’t get the woman’s name who was taking care of the breakfast but she was very helpful..even made me hot fresh oatmeal! We drive thru this area 2x a year, definitely stay again!'

'It gives more of a camping kind of feel. I gre up camping so it was fine for me. I don't know that I would have minded the outhouse so much except my husband and I got food poisoning on our trip so it was a but of a hassle trying to frequently get out there in the middle of the night But that isn't the property owners fault, that was just our experience. The people are wonderfully kind and inviting! And the town is cute and beautiful.'

'Cozy little place for sure. We needed place close to City of Rocks.had everything we needed. Couple of suggestions for the host and guests. A little trash can for the portopotty. One of the bed is on the loft..ladder to get to it is tricky to get down. Unlees you're 6ft tall and strong enough to left over head, let the host know you be using. Otherwise you'd have message the host. Response was quick for us but things come up sometimes. Overall, happy and will stay again. '

'The Buffalo Bill Suite was sweet! We walked in and immediately loved the place, It was perfect for my 96-year-old father and myself. And! Yes! The kitchenette was actually functional. We had all we needed to make our breakfast and lunch and of course we had to eat at the steakhouse for dinner. The waitress, Z and the cook were fantastic, too. Many thanks for our perfect accommodations and being right at the City of Rocks!'
