« Check-in instructions were easy to follow. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed linens, towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap were provided. Very clean and nice place. Refreshing cooler air as we are going through a heat wave at home. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs listening to the bird's and seeing 8 deer 2 mornings. »

« This is our 4th time booking with Melissa - our first here at Linville. This cabin is cozy and beautifully decorated and maintained. Several things to do in the area. Pet friendly but very clean home. The area seems very pet friendly too. Melissa was very responsive and helpful from checking to check out. Highly recommend! »

« For the cost of what we paid for the rental, it was fantastic. It has 2 great outdoor spaces, with a top and lower deck. It is small, but enough space for what we needed. It needs a few simple things, that I noticed others mention, like more towels. We are 60 guest and had to maneuver to get up the outdoor steps and to get in to the high ledge bath tub/showers. « Our stay at the Great Escape Lodge was fantastic! The house is a magnificent historical structure. All rooms were ready and perfect for our arrival (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, etc...all perfect). We grilled and shared stories and good laughs on the back deck.
