'Wat een fijn hotel. We verbleven hier 1 nachtje. We hadden een kamer met 2 badkamers, 2 gashaarden, keuken, zithoek en gigantisch bed. Om 4 uur wilde we inchecken, was de kamer nog niet klaar. Na lang wachten kregen we een upgrade. Ideale ligging. Ontbijt tegen betaling van 10 dollar was oke, niet bijzonder.'

'very cute, rustic fro sure. cabana for instance has no doors, the cabin is enclosed but really only has the one very large bed. my one major note is the cabin doorknob locked us out multiple times, we made a rule to keep the key outside for our stay but could cause a large issues if they don’t have a spare on the property.'

'We have been to many vacation homes but this one is our new favourite! The waterfront cabin is privately situated on the property, amidst beautifully maintained gardens and lawns. We were able to easily launch our sea kayaks using the stairs that lead down to the oceanfront. There were various decks we could use, with Adirondack chairs on the end of the dock, on a lower sun dock and bistro sets on the upper deck outside the cabin. 'Op de bank na, was het appartement netjes. Jammer dat er maar 3 plekken waren op de bank. De bedden zijn goed en je hebt je eigen ingang en privacy. Zeker de moeite waard is even de trap naar beneden te nemen en dan alsmaar omhoog naar een fantastisch uitkijkpunt.'

'The property is unique. It is a cozy beachfront retreat. Perfect location for the Ironman event at Elk/Beaver Lake. Hosts were very clear with instructions/great communication and accurate description of the property. We loved our stay!! Well equipped and loved sitting in the sunroom sipping our coffee in the morning gazing out at the ocean and listening to the waves. Easy street parking too. '

'We really enjoyed this peaceful and cozy home. The backyard was beautiful, we loved watching the birds and using the soaker tub and sauna. The inside was cozy and comfortable. Everyone had their own space, and we had a lot of fun playing darts and scrabble. The town of Sooke is very cute and the people were friendly. We travel quite a bit, and this has been one of my favorite places. I highly recommend staying here.'
