« I had a concerning experience during our stay. The room doors shut very quickly and forcefully, which can be dangerous—especially for children. Unfortunately, my daughter’s finger got stuck in the door. Thankfully, she wasn’t injured very badly, but it was a very scary moment for us. I strongly recommend the hotel consider installing soft-closing mechanisms or safety features to prevent such incidents in the future. « Great value for money in a central location, we didn't use our car for four days as everything was at our doorstep. We had a first-floor room, and the view across the Campaspe River was beautiful to wake up to each day. »

« Excellent location. Good spacious room with twin sofa and king bed and spa in bathroom. Very clean, not only room but overall property was also very clean and tidy. »

« Gardens were beautiful. Didn’t see staff but that was ok as self check in and out was easy. The rooms needed a bit of maintenance. In particular the deck with leaking guttering dripping over doorway and very uneven floor decking. Amenities were good and it was a lovely place to stay. »

« Didn't realise this was a contactless hotel with no reception. I checked in later in the day after driving up from Melbourne. Didn't realise ther was no ironing board in the room. I had a function that evening and needed to iron my clothes. I sent a text message to the hotel and called but there was no answer. Thanksfully, a man arrived within 20 minutes to deliver an iron and ironing board. Other than that, and the cramped parking, my stay was great. Just request ahead of time if you need to...

« Etablissement un peu vieillot et loin du centre ville mais un personnel accueillant et coopératif. Le Wifi est aléatoire (Souvent en Australie) et la piscine petite mais bien entretenue. Il faut essayer le 'sandwich petit-déjeuner' proposé à la réception, c'est divin avant de reprendre la route. »

« Have stayed here before. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. For an older establishment, it still presents fine. The shower was nice and hot, the bed comfy enough. We were in the southern end, which was subject to the noise of the carwash next door, but with the bathroom door closed it was fine and didn't go all night anyway. « Was great for having my dog with me. No questions asked at all - she's a very small dog though. it was a small but comfy room, bed was nice and soft as I like it. only issues are the towel which were clean but old and quit thin, and the TV which had pretty much no channels on it - not that that is a deal breaker these days as I'm generally too busy Workington watch tv anyway. »
