« Elizabeth thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast goodies including freshly laid eggs were a real treat and we loved sitting in the early morning sun as it streamed through the north facing windows. The property itself is so peaceful and quiet with a beautiful outlook. »

« We had a three night stay for a family reunion. The house was perfect for four adults..sleeping for more if needing..a minor negative only one toilet however very well equipped adequate with everything. Lots of space lovely warm house..a definite recommendation..we’ll be back for sure. »

« Very nice location and owners are friendly and welcoming. They gave us farm freshly laid eggs and home baked bread we would definitely stay there again »

« Place was clean, modern, as described. Communication was great. Highly recommend. I would happily stay there again. »

« Beautiful and very well appointed cottage in rural NSW. The bed was very comfortable. Perfect for a relaxing, quiet stay. The property is also well managed and any possible help is close by. We plan to return to Chandlers Rest hopefully not in the distant future! »

« We had the Polo room, it was very clean and quite charming like stepping back in time. Our hosts were very friendly, welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. »

« We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. The cottage was very comfortable. We appreciated the ability to freely wander around the farm. The views were amazing. »

« Isolated and very quiet. Lots of sheep surrounding the cottage. Very easy access to the Carcoar River Yarn Festival held that weekend. »

« This property was super cozy. My partner and I booked over the King's birthday weekend, looking for a cozy getaway and this was perfect. The cottage is situated in a Olive tree farm with sheep roaming nearby - they were so cute!! The cottage was warm and heated well, depsite it be -5 degrees and snowing outside! It is a fair way from Orange, about a 25 min drive each way, but the drive is beautiful. We especially enjoyed the trips into Milthorpe which was only a 10 min drive and absolute...

« We had a lovely stay at Orangewood. The house was spacious and comfortable for 12 adults. We stayed in winter and despite the cold temperatures outside, the house was warm and cozy once the portable heaters and fires were on. »

« Excellent little cottage! Two bedrooms with ensuites suited us perfectly. Kitchen had everything we needed, though may be not enough utensils for a big "cook-up" for a family.Beautiful ambiance with lots of little touches.The hosts left bread, milk, margarine and fresh eggs for our breakfast.Beautiful garden filled with many species of birds though it was too cold to sit outside to appreciate the verandahs and outdoor living spaces. The little heritage town of Millthorpe was less than 10...
