'The staff at The Hamilton is top notch but the room this time was a real disappointment. This is our third time visiting within 12 months. We have always booked the Fairmont Gold Room. Previously we have had wonderful balcony rooms with beautiful views. This time we were given a room overlooking air conditioning units, the roof of a restaurant and dumpsters. There obviously was no balcony. We asked to change rooms and were told we couldnʼt. We were very disappointed in our stay this time.'

'The cabana king room was lovely, but generally, I did not think the service lived up to the Rosewood brand. The staff were all very friendly, but perhaps they were spread too thin? Examples: the staff in London never ask for our name (and room) as they learn them immediately. Not true here. More importantly, the service throughout was slow. I had to call twice for more bottles of water (they were too small) and waited 45 minutes to get them replenished in our room despite the room having earlier...

'The hotel is excellently located if you want to walk into downtown Hamilton for a meal. The price was reasonable by Bermudan standards, but the hotel is showing its age a little bit.
Staff are super friendly and accommodating.'

'The property itself was very nice and we had a beautiful view of the beach. The room was clean for the most part. The location of the hotel was great. It was right between Hamilton and the beaches on the South Shore as well as on a central bus route. The only things that I had issues with was that there was little to do at the hotel besides going to the pool or the beach especially for young kids. Also, the restaurant had weird hours which didn’t fit in well with our schedule. They served...

'Our room included a mini fridge and microwave, which was convenient. I chose this property because Expedia indicated that breakfast was available for a fee; however, this was somewhat misleading. The “breakfast” option consists of the staff purchasing a simple selection on your behalf, and marking up the price for their time spent. It’s much more cost-effective to purchase these items yourself.

'Our first trip to Bermuda & all was excellent! We stayed at the Grotto Bay Resort & did the all inclusive plan. It was so worth the expense as 3 delicious meals per day & all the drinks included (alcoholic as well). All the employees went above & beyond to make our stay exceptional! The wait staff was top notch, meals were gourmet & variety of drinks fantastic! The beach area is a bit small but still plenty of space to enjoy. The onsite cave with swimming was a real treat!
