« The home was just beautiful- even better than the pictures portrayed. The hosts stopped by to bring over a new battery for the fireplace remote, and they were so nice and friendly. The only drawback was that it rained our whole 2 days , so we were not able to enjoy the outdoors, the fire pit or even the starry night sky, which was a great disappointment. We were very grateful for the two big comfy chairs in front of the large Smart TV, and the ability to find some interesting things to watch...

« Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had. »

« Large home, comfortable and clean. The new deck, hot tub and fire pit are in a bucolic environment with lots of wildlife to spy on. Well stocked kitchen. »

« Incredibly charming home in the perfect location. Me, my husband, and small dog spent hours on the deck, people watching, admiring the butterflies and the scenery, and drinking local wine from the cute store across the street. Just a minute's walk to restaurants and a cafe, with an amazing ice cream shop down the steps. The house was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Highly recommend. »

« Comfortable and quiet mountain cabin with convenient location for our planned activities at Harpers Ferry and Sharpsburg. We would stay there again if in the area. Good communication with the host.Deer in the yard every morning and evening added to a pleasurable experience. »
