'Would be 5 stars all round if it wasn’t for the fireplace centrepiece under the TV not working, half of it wouldn’t switch on so one side was lit while the other stayed off and I paid a lot of money on 2 nights in the signature suite for a very special birthday relying on everything to be as advertised. With the room being the main experience this was very disappointing and even after raising this to staff it wasn’t able to be fixed. I’m all about details especially for big celebrations and this...

'The only thing that could have been better was the lack of info about RingGo to pay for the parking in advance. Installing the app, coming from abroad, proved far from easy.'

'Despite an excellent location just next to the entrance to the cathedral, this hotel is another of those run-down, bleak firetraps from way back in the last century. You know it's old as soon as you climb the narrow stairs to the tiny reception area and notice the grimy carpet and chipped woodwork. Getting to your room involves climbing meandering stairs that go one way, up another short flight of stairs, and then still in another direction. (There is no lift.) My room had a nice bed but little...

'Fijne kamer, uitstekend ontbijt, aanrader.'
