'It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin.The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter. Didn’t know that until the day we left...

'Clean rooms. Basic but nice. Fridge and microwave. Nice mattress, loved that, very comfortable. Nice bright white fluffy towels. Great bathroom toiletries, ie: soap, shampoo etc. Bad thing. It's a motel, that was about full occupancy, so in the morning, I assume all the other guests used all the hot water. I waited an hour to see if the water heater for the facilities replenish and it didn't. I reported it to the front office. They said it never happened before and I was the only one...
