'Meals out on the deck, hot dogs cooked over a fire, several nice hiking trails nearby. Tricky to find, but clean, secluded, relaxing and comfy bed. Has fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, washer & dryer. Didn’t use all those myself, but someone else may who reads this review!'

'I stayed at the keeper's house on Charity Island in mid-August with my parents, daughter, and nieces (ages 8-10). It's such a unique stay and very peaceful. The house is spacious and fairly well stocked, though we spent most of the time outside. There are two beach areas- one rocky and one sandy- and the water is shallow (<4 ft) quite a ways out, which was perfect for the kids. 'The location is beautifully peaceful, with fascinating wildlife to observe. The kitchen has all the basics, and the wifi is reliable. We appreciated the measures taken to ensure privacy and insulate sound for indoor restfulness. Check-in and communication were easy and efficient. We would happily stay here again.'

'Check In was extremely easy. We enjoyed the water especially the kayaks. The weather was amazing and we got to see the sun and moon rise. The property owner is very responsive and has many available items in the house to use. The only thing i would say is the water way is an easement and not so much a beach per say but it was still nice. '
