'We rented this home for my son’s wedding. The groomsmen and dates stayed here. The house was large enough for them to all be comfortable and close enough to Hickory for the wedding. The game room was a big hit. Had it been warmer and they had more time, they would have taken advantage of the lakefront. The hosts were so attentive to make sure our stay was comfortable and stress free. Highly recommend this home and Flying Squirrel!'

'Location was very good for the reason I was visiting. It was very nice having a garage for use. The rooms were spacious, plenty of space for everyone. The house is vintage which is not a problem except it had an odor that I bought some room spray to try and mask. Couldn't get hit water in the kitchen sink, not even luke warm?? 'Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows.
