'Great location in downtown Winchester, very walkable to restaurants and stores. House is old and decoration interesting. For 3 of us for 2 nights it was just fine, if more guests and a longer stay the 1 bath tub with a shower over the tub would get old. Also no one can touch any other water source when someone is showering, blistering water comes out the shower. House was clean, kitchen perfect for what we needed.'

'We stayed in this apartment on the final day of our GAP/C&O Canal ride. We appreciated the location close to the trail and close to good restaurants. The bed was comfortable, and the unit has nice touches like a coffee pot, cold and hot water dispenser, quality linens, and a bike storage shed. 'We were staying at the schoolhouse to go hiking and ride bikes. They house has been tastefully decorated. I enjoyed the quite community and the listening to the tree frogs at night. Front Royal has a few things you can enjoy such as the movie theatre, bakery and state park. I would highly recommend this propery.'

'The posting warns about low ceilings and insects. I'm 6'1" and did fine, just watched my head on the step. I did see one spider, but otherwise very clean and not buggy. My only other criticism is there is one small trash can in the kitchen area and not the bathroom. Very cute and very comfortable, especially for just one night.
