Part of the Linnaeus Collection, The Hotel Alternative, this modern village residence blends sculptural interiors, curated materials and seamless indoor–outdoor living, all within moments of cafés, boutiques and local dining.



The Space:

Steel-framed windows rise toward pitched ceilings, while concrete floors anchor the open-plan living spaces. Timber joinery and natural stone soften the palette, creating a home that feels cohesive, tactile and intentionally understated.



At the centre of the residence, a generous kitchen, dining and living zone unfolds beneath vaulted ceilings. A stately stone fireplace grounds the room, complemented by sculptural furniture and layered linens that bring warmth without excess.



Dining has been thoughtfully curated in partnership with Villeroy & Boch, with tableware and cutlery selected to complement the home’s architecture and material palette. These pieces form part of the permanent collection and are provided for guest enjoyment during each stay.



The bedrooms are private and hotel-inspired, with five-star beds dressed in Cultiver linens, natural stone ensuites, air-conditioning and smart TVs for personal comfort. Upstairs, the master guest suite offers a pitched ceiling, freestanding bath, built-in daybed and private balcony, creating a quiet retreat within the home.



Outdoors, the living space extends to an entertainers’ deck with a built-in outdoor kitchen, ceiling fans and generous seating. A north-facing yard frames the plunge pool, set within landscaped gardens designed for privacy and ease.

Opening mid-2026, the restaurant will deliver world-class dining experiences across the Collection. Led by one of Australia’s most accomplished young chefs - formerly the youngest ever hatted chef in the country, Sara Dining will offer seasonal, produce-driven menus and private catering designed exclusively for our guests.



Private dining is available now from Sara Dining for Linnaeus guests by prior arrangement, offering a bespoke, in-residence experience, please ask for more information.

Maple on Edward forms part of the Linnaeus Collection, a curated portfolio of seven private residences across Berry, NSW, accommodating 70+ guests across the Collection. Each residence is independently experienced yet unified by considered hospitality, offering the privacy of a home with the cohesion and standards of a professionally managed portfolio.



All guests of the Linnaeus Collection have the option to book a private animal feeding session at Moraea Farm, where resident Highland cows, goats, sheep and chickens form part of the wider Berry experience. Subject to availability.



Linnaeus Collection properties are located within five minutes of each other, Berry village and the coastline, allowing larger groups to curate multiple residences while remaining seamlessly connected.
