I arrive at 2am and there was not reception. They claim the sent me an email with a code to do the check in with a machine installed at the door, but I got no email. Therefore I had to spend the night outdoors. They did not care the slightest, not even as to refund my money for a night I didnt use.

Ein schönes Hostel mit Vintage Flair und besonderen Charm. Sauber geführt. Service und Housekeeping Personal sind sehr freundlich. Der Biergarten mit Schöner Bepflanzung. Die Inhaber des Hostels sind dort anzutreffen und man spürt das ,das Hostel eine Seele hat. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

지난번의 경험이 마음에 들어 다시 투숙하게 되었습니다. 저렴하지만 시설은 어디에도 밀리지 않고 위치나 교통편까지 좋습니다. 지난번과 달리 락커에 본인의 자물쇠를 거는것이 아닌 프론트에서 보증금을 내고 키를 빌리는 방식으로 바뀌었습니다

The dorm was ok except a locker could have been a bit larger. The location was good as it was close to the airport as I had an early flight but also close to many attractions.

총 4박을 했습니다. 장점: 가격-다른 곳 1박 가격으로 4박 가능. 추가 비용 없음. 위치-중앙역에서 걸어서 15분 거리. 1분 거리에 U6 역. 3분 거리에 마트 등 위치가 좋음. 걸어서 국회의사당부터 투어할 수 있음. 직원-리셉션 직원이 활기차다. 주방-장점이자 단점. 오븐과 전자렌지, 토스트기 등은 있지만 불을 이용할 수는 없다. 청결-전반적으로 깨끗. 화장실도 냄새 안나고 나름 깨끗. 단점: 화장실 및 샤워실의 갯수-1층에 화장실과 샤워실이 남녀 각각 1개. 붐비는 시간은 피해야 한다. 수건 유료-개당 2유로에 대여해야 한다. 룸메이트-케바케. 저렴한 곳이다 보니 늘 방이 다 찬다. 성비 등에 대한 고려는 없다. 4박동안 1-2일째는 나 혼자 여자, 3-4일째는 1분만 남자였다. 침대-2층 침대이다 보니 위 또는 아래 사람의 움직임이 잘 느껴진다. 예민하면 피하기. 팁: 수건을 가져오거나 대여하자. 수건이 커서 1개로 충분하다. 근처 REWE에서 빵이나 샐러드를 싸게 살수 있다. 아침 대용으로 좋다. 라커는 15유로 보증금으로 키를 받을 수 있다. 체크인 할 때 챙기기.

Cheap but would not recommend it
I needed a cheap place to spend few hours after arriving in Tegel Airport half past 10pm and before my train to Hildesheim at 4am. This hostel is walkable from Berlin Hbf. The reception is at the third floor. The lift is going under renovation for a week so that means I have to carry my heavy luggage walking up the stairs. I was glad that a man who was also going up with a luggage offered to help carry mine. I profusely thanked him until we reached the reception and later found out that he is the receptionist. My room was in the 4th floor and this time I had to carry my luggage. That was fine. In the early morning, another man was in the reception. I politely asked for two things: (1) to book me a taxi and (2) to assist me with my luggage. He would only do (1). He reasoned that he cannot leave the reception. Unlike when I arrived where it was full with young people drinking and chatting, there were nobody else in the reception except us. I was utterly disappointed. But in the end, he was obliged to help me since the taxi would come in 1-2 minutes. It would took me couple more minutes if I had to carry it myself. So, was still thankful. There should have been an advisory that the lift isn't working. Had I known it, I wouldn't book this in the first place. The toilets and showers are very dirty. Hallways are also noisy. I couldn't even sit up in the bed and I'm only 1.5m tall. There are better hostels which are cleaner, more comfortable beds and also cheap

The bed is pretty simple. There is no curtain to cover your bed. You can feel other people sleeping above/beneath you moving... Overall is fine. The staff is nice! They are very friendly. The kitchen is small but nice. The location is good! When you take a shower, there is no door locking, only a curtain. The locker can't be locked. The staff can keep your valuables at the reception desk

We booked a double room with private bathroom and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. The corridor to the hostel door looked shady when we were first trying to locate the hostel, but we were glad the hostel turned out fine. There's also a convenience store nearby which was great.

불만하나 없이 만족한 숙소
4인실에 묵었습니다. 가격대비 대 만족이었습니다. 침대마다 콘센트 하나씩 다 있고 개별등도 하나씩 다 있습니다. 프론트 직원도 친절하고 환영하는 분위기입니다. 저같은 경우 버스멀미를 해서 공항에서 숙소까지 오는데 땀을 잔뜩 흘렸는데 체크인 시간은 아직 아니라서(아침 10시 도착했음) 짐만 맡기고 가려했는데 땀 흘렸으니 샤워라도 하고 가라고 해주기도 했고 주변에 대한 질문도 잘 대답해줍니다. 위치도 유명관광지를 다니기에는 최적이라고 생각합니다. U반역 바로앞이고 트램도 5분정도만(사실 덜걸림) 걸어가면 있어서 베를린 어디로든 가기도 좋습니다. 공항버스 TXL도 바로 오고 중앙역도 트램타고 2정거장인가만 가면 됩니다. 이정도면 위치는 최고라고 보는데 다만 위치에 있어 한가지 단점이라면 2층에 탱고학원(?)이 있어 한 5시부터는 피아노 소리가 조금 나긴 하는데 잘 시간 전에 끝납니다. DM도 5분거리에 있고 E뭐시기로 시작했던 마트도 DM 옆에 있구요. 반대편으로 가면 BIO COMPANY라는 마트도 있고 REWE도 U반타고 한역만 가면 있어서 뭐 사는데는 불편함이 없습니다. 밥먹기에도 주변에 아침 먹을만한 빵집도 2개정도 있고 점심은 주변에서 안먹어봐서 잘 모르겠지만 저녁도 서너군데 먹을만한 식당이 있고 역시 U반타고 한두역만 가면 식당이 쫙 깔려있어서 밥먹기에도 불편함은 없었습니다. 편의 시설을 얘기해보자면 층 화장실에 변기 2개있구요 샤워부스도 2개있어서 좀 모자라지 않은가? 생각들어도 피크시간만 피하면 기다릴일 없습니다. 한가지 주의점이라면 샤워부스 샤워커튼이 바닥까지 안와서 물이 튀어서 신발이나 슬리퍼 젖을수있으니 그것만 주의하시면 큰 불편없는 좋은 숙소라고 할 수 있겠습니다.

Sauberkeit steht bei uns auch ganz oben, deswegen können wir deine Bewertung kaum nachvollziehen.

Nice hostel. Clean and safe. My first hostel experience and won't be my last. Only reason for 4 stars is it isn't very social. Not the hostels fault, but the common room has no atmosphere and not many of the people staying were open to conversation. Also only had 2 female toilets and 2 showers for the whole floor. So trying to get a shower in the morning could take a while.

La cama bastante cómoda,la limpieza bastante bien. Algo negativo las duchas,dos duchas femeninas y dos masculinas para cada planta y el agua salía fría y al segundo caliente con suerte y así. 5 euros de fianza x la tarjeta que lo devuelven y 2 euros por toalla si la quieres,te guardan la maleta si aún no tienen la habitación lista si es necesario sin cobrarte nada. Hay taquillas en la habitación pero no se pueden cerrar,quedan abiertas lo que tienes que necesitas un candado para tu maleta y dejarla cuando te vayas de la habitación Calidad precio está bastante bien
