Everything was perfect, genuinely nothing to fault with this resort. Staff were so nice and friendly, the facilities were 10/10 and the food was amazing at their restaurant. The pool setup was very relaxing, overlooking a nice mangrove river with lots of wildlife. The rooms were also massive, clean and modern and I had a great 3 night stay here, I wouldn’t hesitate to book a stay here again when visiting Sri Lanka.

Very nice stay in this hotel, staff is very professionnal and helpful, rooms are wonderful. The food is very healthy and tasty. A great variety, included japanese. A wonderful swimming pool, and spa and massages service. I strongly recommend

Having heard about The Last House and one of Bawa's last properties, was keen to experience for myself. I love the property! It's a perfect place to 'flop & drop': positioned on a beautiful clean beach, a stunning pool, great Sri Lankan food and authentic Ayurvedic massage available - a new favourite. Ideal for a special occasion to block out for a small group of family & friends...

The hotel is certainly not up to the standard of a 5 star as well as the price they charge. Our room was supper dirty and we had to ask for a change. The next room was acceptable but still very dirty. The rooms look run down and not well maintained. We did the Tepaniaki experience and were charge 130 € which is a LOT in Sri Lanka and it was no where near a real Tepaniaky experience. I recommend you avoid it! Do not take a Tintin from any of the staff they are in on it with the one parked across the steel and will try to charge you 20 Us$ to go to Colombo and back when a one way should be in the range of 400/500 roupies... not good to try to steel from tourist on the pretext that they have money... overall I was very disappointed by this hotel!
