Larimar is an 8600 square foot luxury ocean front villa designed by renowned Barbadian architect Peter Burke and built in 2012. It’s close to the world famous Crane Beach and only 10 minutes from the airport. Featuring 7 spacious bedroom suites all with super king size beds and all with private en suite bathrooms (no need to share!), comfortably accommodating up to 14+ guests. The large rooms, expansive verandas and pool area make this an ideal villa for smaller groups wanting seclusion or larger groups here to enjoy everything Larimar and Barbados has to offer. Larimar sits on over an acre of secluded tropical gardens, with amazing 180 degree ocean views. The pool and veranda areas are breezy and comfortable. Our guests love the space and privacy.

THE SOCIAL SPACES

The kitchen has all the usual appliances with plenty of storage and equipment. There’s a large American Double Door Fridge with 3 further fridge’s available in the adjacent bar. Outside the kitchen is the main outdoor dining area with capacity for all guests. There is also a BBQ Grille.

The main lounge has couches with a large glass indoor dining table and chairs. There’s a convenient powder/washroom off the lounge. There’s also a full size pool table which is a hit with many of our guests.

The bar has multiple fridges, shelving, glassware and plastic ware. There’s a smart TV with a surround sound system should you wish ‘to catch the game’ or access YouTube, Netflix etc. A JVC boom box is also available for your convenience.

Outside, the pool, veranda’s and garden areas provide multiple seating and relaxing spaces. The pool has lots of sun loungers, umbrellas and seating. It also has its own outdoor bar! There’s also swing chairs and hammocks to chill out and relax on. These outside areas are tastefully illuminated at night.

There’s an air conditioned gym for those feeling energetic or committed to a workout lifestyle. The gym features full length mirrors, a weight machine, free weights, yoga mats and other equipment. Private trainers / yoga instructors can be made available, or just feel free to workout on the verandas or pool deck with the breathtaking views.

THE BEDROOMS IN DETAIL
Larimar has 7 spacious air conditioned bedroom suites, with super king beds, each with its own private bathroom. All feature rain showers, with the master having a double rain shower and large tub. There’s also a huge enclosed / outdoor bathroom room off the ‘Bamboo Suite' and another enclosed / outdoor bathroom off the ‘Frangipani Suite’, giving guests a very tropical feel.
The villa can accommodate up to 14 guests. However further beds can be provided as required, fees may apply for extra beds / guests.

CHILDREN ARE WELCOME
There are some fun things for the younger ones to do with pool toys, floaties, noodles etc. There’s also some full face snorkel masks, beach toys etc. We also have board games, giant genga, lawn boules etc.
We have 2 ‘Pack and Play’ portable playards, a high chair, baby gates, booster seat etc. should you need them.

THE BEACHES
There are multiple beaches next to Larimar. Deborah Bay, Falmouth and Shark Hole are all within 5 minutes walk. The Crane Beach, Foul Bay and Bottom Bay (most photographed beach in Barbados) are a few minutes away by car. The Crane (the most populated) is routinely voted one of the Top 10 in the world, 1/4 mile of sandy beach with its fantastic Beach Bar and Grille - The Grove. BBQ night / dinner show at The Grove is on Tuesdays, which we’d be happy to book for you. There’s also a daily happy hour from 4-5pm.

THE CRANE RESTAURANTS & BARS
The Crane Resort has multiple dining and bar options open to the public
~ Bar 1887 has daily happy hours from 5-6pm and 9-10pm, live entertainment in the evenings featuring great bar snacks and cocktails
~ The Grove Beach Bar has a daily happy hour from 4-5pm, with drinks and snacks. It’s a true ‘toes in the sand experience’.
~ The Carriage House offers poolside casual dining during the day with a steak restaurant in the evening.
~Zen is a Japanese & Thai restaurant with amazing views of the ocean featuring a great and varied menu. Stephen is an extremely talented sushi chef!
~Azure is an International restaurant next to Zen featuring the same amazing views. Azures beautiful bar overlooking Crane Beach is a secret spot not to be missed.
~Poesia is a superb Italian Restaurant serving good Italian Pastas, risottos and pizzas

OTHER RESTAURANTS AND BARS CLOSE TO LARIMAR
~ Cutters is a fantastic Deli, great for breakfast and lunch. Roger (the owner) also claims to make the best rum punch on the island. Something I can’t dispute!
~Marco Polo, is an oceanside restaurant overlooking Foul Bay is run by a delightful English couple featuring favourites such as fish and chips, great ribs, etc.
~Le Shack is a French / International Restaurant just outside The Crane. Jean Jacque and his team know how to cook and entertain!
~Dis Ole House is a fab ribs, chicken restaurant right outside Sam Lords Resort.

There are also multiple local ‘Rum Shops’ in the area, a few being a couple of minutes walk away. You can’t beat the price of the drinks in these shops or the banter with the locals. This is something I’ve always loved about Barbados. The beers are always ice cold at Hilda’s, a few minutes walk from Larimar.

You can also choose to use our chef services at the villa. Chef Geoffrey can be booked for your entire stay or just on a meal by meal basis (the most popular option). He can cook pretty much anything, shop for you prior to your arrival, prep, serve and tidy.

THE SPA SERVICES
Spa treatments can be booked at the villa as a fabulous treat. Our lovely lady Kerry and her team can provide - Massages, Facials, Reflexology, Sports Massages, Manicures & Pedicures etc. Botox, fillers can also be done by lovely Dawn.

FULL CONCIERGE SERVICES
We offer a full concierge service - we can arrange car rental, airport transfers, pre-stock the villa with groceries before your arrival, make restaurant reservations, spa treatments, organise excursions etc. A catamaran cruise is a must, (voted the best day out on the water by our guests) and so much more.

We will be happy to advise and book anything for you prior to your arrival or when you’re on site. Booking early is preferable as the island can get busy. Options include;

~ Catamaran Cruises are a very popular excursion. You’ll snorkel with the turtles, check out a couple of wrecks and cruise the beautiful coast, stopping off by one of the beaches on the west coast for lunch on board. You can choose private or shared cruises.
~Island Tours are equally popular. You’ll see all the best sights with one of our drivers, stopping for lunch on the way.
~Beach Days are part of Barbados culture. The Crane, Miami Beach, The Boat Yard, Savvy on the Bay, Tiki Bar, La Cabana, Sea Shed are all great locations to chill, eat, drink and relax. You can also rent chairs and umbrellas etc.
~Water Sports including jet skiing, surfing etc. can be arranged. Alan Burke an ex world top 50 surfer guarantees you’ll be surfing by the end of the day!
~Car Rental can be arranged for you. It’s a great way to see the island, go shopping etc.
~Other excursions can include - E Bike tours, Dinner Extravaganza’s, Deep Sea fishing, Sporting event bookings etc.

THAT SPECIAL OCCASION
