'Great single room with en suite shower. This is a pub/restaurant/hotel but no noise disturbance even at the weekend. Staff all friendly and happy to help. Sunday roast was huge and very tasty. Would defo stay again if in the area.'

'I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine.
Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church.

'after check-in, which was friendly and quick, we went out for a short walk before diner. the surroundings of the hotel are quiet and friendly. after a long drive very welcome.

'We informed the hotel we'd be arriving early as we were attending a wedding, and they very kindly had the room ready for our arrival.
