"A hotel of excellence.. from the chilled water, juice and treats waiting g for you in the lobby, to the quick, polite and efficient checking staff. Our stay was off to a perfect start. We arrived early and were given a room with no fuss. The lobby is large and has great sitting areas with inside and outside bar service. The room was spacious and well appointed. The drinking water supplied was a treat. The bed was so comfortable, and linen crisp and spotless. Our towels so soft. Being a step to the Rhine waterfront and walking distance to the city centre were a bonus. I would highly recommend a stay of a couple of days to really enjoy your time."

"We had a pleasant stay at the Maritim Hotel Darmstadt. The hotel is clean, conveniently located next to the train station, and within walking distance of the city center. The rooms were clean, the mattress was very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel has a small pool, which is nice for cooling off after a day out. The biggest downside is the parking garage. At €20 per night, you would expect a better-designed facility. The ceiling is very low, the spaces are narrow, and opening the trunk of an SUV can easily hit the ceiling and cause dents. It also took a while for the garage lights to switch on after we entered. Unfortunately, the EV charger didn’t work either—it started charging but stopped immediately with both our charging card and credit card. Overall, a great hotel with a fantastic location and breakfast, but the parking experience could definitely be improved."

"The location is very convenient to hop on the train right away and plenty of parking is available. All of the staff members were extremely friendly and helpful, and we were very happy with how clean the room was. My only fault with the hotel is they only had one high chair (kinderstoel) available at the breakfast, so one morning I had to try to eat breakfast while my daughter sat on my lap."
