Direct Oceanfront, 65 inch Smart TV, Fireplace

Paradise Found. The moment you enter the gate of Harbor Island your cares begin to melt away. Harbor Island is a small, laid back, private island with over 2 miles of dunes and sugar sand beach. There is no public access so the beach is always uncrowded. Activities abound, fishing, crabbing, shelling, kayaking and bicycling and much more.
There are only a few ocean front villas on the island, and they are located in either the D or K buildings. Our unit is in K which is more secluded and private than D. K is also closer to the Beach and Raquet Club, which is the activity center of the island. The club has an Olympic swimming pool, kiddie pool, and children's playground. The club house has an aerobic room and weight room on the lower level. Upstairs there is a snack bar and store, and covered balcony. You will also find volleyball, basketball, tennis, shuffle board, and horseshoe courts.
Our villa is perfect for your beach vacation. Inside the unit on the lower level you will find a comfortable Living Room with a oceanfront view, 65 inch flatscreen TV w/dvd, and electric fireplace. There is a queen sleeper sofa, dual reclining love seats, and a Lay-Z-Boy recliner. There is also a well appointed kitchen, dining area and 1/2 bath. Lastly, step through the sliding glass doors onto the balcony. There you will find a table, chairs, beach umbrella, chaise lounge and one of the best views on the island.
On the upper level there are 2 bedrooms, each with private bath and plenty of closet space. The guest bedroom has a Queen Bed, and a rocking chair and a flat screen TV w/dvd. The master bedroom has a Queen bed, flat screen TV w/dvd, and a wonderful 8ft window seat overlooking the dunes and ocean and is the perfect place to read or take a nap.
Outside the unit there are swimming pools just off each end of the building, and the boardwalk over the dunes to the beach.
In short, everything you need for a memorable family vacation or a romantic getaway.

This place was amazing! We will most definitely be staying here again. However, I wish the listing was more accurate in regards to how many steps there were. We were aware that the bedrooms were up stairs, but thought the first floor was ground level. Maybe common sense should have told us that it was the second floor, but the listing could have explicitly said that. It was not as elderly friendly as we were expecting, but everyone still enjoyed their stay. In total, there is about 20 steps up to the entrance of the unit, and another 15 to the second floor.

Family getaway

We had a fabulous time at the condo. Loved how close it was to two different pools and the beach. Enjoyed seeing all the wildlife and itโ€™s next door to Hunting Island which was amazing. My mom was even lucky enough to see a baby sea turtle make its way down the beach one morning. 10/10

R&R extended weekend

The community was so peaceful, calm and relaxing. The condo was just perfect for my husband and I. We did some exploring and went on self guided tours in Beaufort as well. The beach was very nice. We did find a few whole shells on our walks and seen a few jelly fish. Highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for a show down. It was just what we needed. Also recommend Foolish Frog for a great dinner with a view.

Beautiful island. The house was clean and had a killer view of the sunrise every morning. Got to see a lot of unique wildlife. The bone yard beach on Hunting island 10 minutes away is a must while staying. The best part i must say is the isolation. With limited people on the Island, its nice not having an over crowded beach.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this beachfront condo. It was well equipped, clean and comfortable for the two of us. The location can not be beat and the walkway to the ocean is directly down the steps. Beautiful and quiet yet close to a few bars/restaurants. Everything you could want for a few days on the beach! I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This is a lovely property with a magnificent view of the ocean right from the main bedroom and the living room downstairs. There is a boardwalk pretty much right outside your door that leads to the beach. Absolutely perfect! We love Hunting Island and that's only 6 minutes away. My husband and I very much enjoyed staying here.

We wanted to go somewhere quiet along the coast and this turned out to be the perfect spot! The location was great and the condo had everything we needed, including a very comfortable deck. The property overall was nice. Beautifully landscaped to attract butterfly. The boardwalk made the beach access a breeze. Loved watching the tide come in. Pelican point was a treat with all the different water birds. Enjoyed the history of the area. There was a problem in the unit that I sent a message to the host and he quickly responded that he would address it.

Beautiful view and nice place but there were roaches

We were so looking forward to a nice trip but ended up being a stressful one. The place seemed to be clean until we found there were roaches. I didnโ€™t notice them until the last night we were there. My husband noticed them earlier but didnโ€™t want to upset me since we were already there and enjoying our time. We had to come home and leave our stuff outside until I was able to clean everything before it came into our house.

Wonderful view of ocean

Great location as we went one day to Savannah and one day to Charlston. View from living room, deck and bedroom of the ocean was so beautiful and relaxing. We have rented many places. This one was one of the cleanest. Would have appreciated at least one dishwasher tab to use for when we left. Many great places to eat within 10 minutes of condo Our favorite was Johnson creek. Thank you Peterson family we greatly appreciated your condo.

Another Great Stay

This is our second stay at this awesome condo on Harbor Island! The view and beach access is unbeatable. Three pools right within walking distance. Just enough room for our family of five. Thank you for another amazing family adventure!

Perfect Week

We had the best time here! Felt suprisingly spacious for our family of 6, which is hard to accomplish! Loved the THREE pools and the short walk to the beach. Was so suprised at how few people were out on the beach - we had it all to ourselves several times! We spent 2 days at nearby Hunting Island - only a few minutes away for a beautiful true "wild island" feel. Would love to return!
