Gedateerde kamer, maar alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. De cottage heeft meerdere kamers en 1 gezamenlijke kamer (waar de openhaard aan stond...erg warm en rokerige lucht in de kamer0. Uitzicht mooi op hessian lake en in het hoofdgebouw kun je een goed ontbijt nuttigen (wel redelijk aan de prijs).

Heb een kamer geboekt bij de overlook dat is niet in het hoofd gebouw. Dat viel ten opzichte van het hoofdgebouw erg tegen. Erg gedateerd, gehoorig en koud water in de douche.

With no elevator service, the 20 something man behind the desk didn't even offer to carry this senior citizen's 4 bags upstairs. The chair in my room had holes. The tub faucet pulled out of the wall. The key card needed multiple resets. There's no on site staff weekends except maids who left litter all over the common areas. Stay away. Pathetic.

The only thing we like it’s the nature around the property!things we dislike in room 407 at Spring cottage: 1)check in time took 30 min on Friday afternoon 2)strong smell in hallway and in the room 3)door in bathroom won’t lock 4)dust everywhere((( 5)no hot water on Friday night 6)some Asian people were peeping on our windows…creepy 7)much smaller room in reality 8)very thin walls,you can hear all you neighbours conversations( 9)no ac or air circulation in the room,very heavy air,better to be outside! All the cottages need renovation or at least some improvement for the price you charge,not worth to pay almost $600 for 2 nights(((

Unfortunately, the photo of the property that appears on the Expedia page is not the property that Expedia users will book. That property is only booked by calling them directly. There are small cottages and another area some distance up the road from the cottages. It wasn't quite what I had expected. There was a dirty Band-Aid on the floor, the windows cannot be opened safely as they are at ground level. There is no air conditioning or real ventilation in the rooms. Other than that, you need to make sure that you check in at the main Lodge and they will give you your keys from there. Other things . . . There is an extensive online registration that has to be done. During this, you need to provide your full name and address, along with credit card information, and a photo of your driver's license. This does make your check in someone easier, but it feels really strange to be sending all of your personal information over the internet.

Stayed in a cottage. Strong smoke smell from the fireplace. Tiny rooms with shared common space and paper thin walls. Shower went from hot to cold without warning. TV didn’t work. Ants in our room. Dinner at the Inn was the only saving grace. I do not recommend.

Old and worn. We had a beautiful view and the beds were excellent. Pillows lumpy and too big. Our room had a door to connect to the next room. We could hear all the speech and noises! Bathroom adequate except no hot water by 7:30 am and the towels exfoliated. Best part was view across pond to Hudson.

Your house keeping lady stole a number of bags from me. One had my medication that will cause me seizures if I don’t get it back. The bag alone cost me 300 dollars Nevermind the items in it. If you don’t refund me and give me my Bags back I will file civil charges

Actually the staff was great but the management needs to have 2 workers at the front desk. The maintenance man left and the front desk lady was fixing tv' for about 45mins to an hr. Other then that it was great.

It was a nice gateway for me and my husband nice and quiet a hour away from NYC we took the coach bus and the food was good but we ordered a lot from door dash other then that we had a good time the scenery was beautiful and we went to the zoo and gift shop the pool was close at this time we would diff visit again if you want a quiet vacation go here it’s worth it

The Bear Mountain Inn exceeded expectations in that we simply swooned over the surroundings, waking up to the lake and taking a beautiful stroll from the stone cottages to the main Inn. We were very impressed with the Zoo, carousel, ice skating and the staff were incredibly friendly. The only downsides to this trip were that our bathtub sink was full of hair, which was really off-putting and the food at the restaurant was so salty that we could hardly eat our meals (this is coming from someone who loves her salt). I would stay here again because it is stunning and worth the price but I’d highly encourage a conversation with the cleaners and chefs, as I don’t think I would recommend again if the cleanliness and salty food continue to be an issue

I had a lovely stay at the Lodge at Bear Mtn Inn. The room was a nice size and the beds were very comfy. I ate at the hotel restaurant twice and the food was very tasty, especially the salmon and the desserts. The staff was top-notch, but a few deserve special mention. Gabriel was very helpful throughout my stay, he even helped with booking as I had some special requests. Sherri at the restaurant is an excellent server, but I was so impressed by how patiently she dealt with some very rude diners. Ariana in reception at the lodge was super friendly, and also helped me out with a special request for the room after housekeeping had gone home for the day. Malcolm and Erin, at the Inn, always greeted with a smile and very helpful.
