The room was clean and comfortable. It took quite a while to warm up, because the air conditioner is located above cupboards and was a challenge to actually turn on and up! I had to stand on a chair to do this as the sensor is hidden. The weather in Bathurst was very chilly during my stay, so heating was important.
The grounds were lovely and quiet with no traffic noise and minimal sounds from adjoining rooms.
The king bed was comfortable and would have been more so if it hadn’t had a vinyl cover attached! A good quality mattress protector should be able to do the job without causing discomfit.
A heater light in the bathroom would also be helpful during the winter months.
Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Unfortunately, the room phone had been damaged and was unusable.
