There is much to see and do for history lovers, too, including The Jane Austen Centre (500 metres), and the fascinating Roman Baths (0.5 miles) which are a must visit. Pack up your swimsuit and head to the Thermae Bath Spa, a natural thermal spa with an open-air rooftop pool providing superb views over the city. Head outside of the city and take some countryside walks visiting Dundas Aqueduct and Limpley Stoke Viaduct (3.5 miles).

Up on the first floor of this terraced property, this pretty apartment retains much of its traditional features complemented by period and vintage style furnishings and décor. From the hallway, step into the light and bright lounge/kitchen/diner. To one side is the stylish kitchen which has an oven and a hob, so you can create hearty breakfasts and prepare delicious meals for dinner. The dining table is set in front of a large window that looks over the street below. Once you have refuelled, curl up on the sofa in the colourful lounge and watch something together on the TV. As the day turns to night, head through to the bedroom which has a welcoming double bed for a restful night’s sleep. The apartment is finished off with a bathroom with a shower over the bath, and a WC.

While there is no dedicated outdoor space at this property, there are many city parks within reach. Visit Hedgemead Park and Royal Victoria Park, both within 200 metres for gentle walks or relaxing in the sun. Parking is available on the street outside the property.
