'A great and charming place! Lovely owner, great location, amazing bed, tasteful breakfast!'

'We thoroughly enjoyed three days of complete peace and tranquillity at Vila Santa Teresa, staying in a stunning room with breathtaking views over the whole of Rio de Janeiro. This is a very small, intimate hotel with only six or seven rooms, set on a hill surrounded by a beautiful, extensive garden. The entire property is enclosed, offering a wonderful sense of privacy, peace and security. The hotel has a restaurant that we would highly recommend for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food and...

'The Cozy House looks just as it does in the pictures. I love the location in the hills of Santa Teresa. I searched long and hard for a location outside of the tourist area, but close enough to enjoy the sights and a room with a view of more than the building next door. Cozy House checked all of the boxes. The staff was accommodating and helpful. The room was pretty clean. I did notice a few overlooked areas, but nothing alarming or that made me feel uncomfortable. The breakfast was...

'Zeer mooie ervaring, luxe hotel! '

'Breakfast was excellent ! Beds were terrible,we were three people and all the beds were very uncomfortable.'

'It is absolutely a beautiful unique house with a gorgeous garden… the room was very spatious and amazingly quiet. Communication was a little difficult breakfast basic and the room could be cleaner but it was my first visit to South America and am probably too much used to European standards'

'Quarto tinha o chão pegajoso ! Lençóis não cobriam totalmente o colchão! fraco'

'Ruime kamer, uitzicht vanop 25 hoog was goed. Personeel was heel behulpzaam. Bistro was lekker.

'Veel last van straatgeluiden en lawaaiige airco. Ruime kamer van alle gemakken voorzien. Goede ligging.'

'Nice and kind people, clean rooms'
