House Sleeps 8 With Hot Tub and ParkingBasford
2.0 van 10, (1 beoordeling)
'The hot tub is not included, which I found very misleading, as you have to pay extra to use it.
The property was also very dirty, and it was obvious that many things had not been properly checked or maintained. The size of the accommodation and the number of the beds were not as advertised correctly. Several beds and other items were broken.
There were also a number of maintenance issues: the bathtub was blocked, the toilet door did not lock, and there were several other problems throughout...

'Although many stars given by me, my all in all result is 3 stars because of the all day long (24/7) heavily humming noise I heard in my room. Luckily I had a couple of earbuds with me that I was going to use during a pop concert, so I didn't hear the noise during my sleep.
My room was a single person room, number 31. So if you get that one offerred, immediatly ask for another room.'

'De kamer stond propvol met meubelstukken die geen enkel nut hadden. Je kon amper rond het bed lopen. Wij waren in kamer Tokio. Badkamer was OK. Het hotel is vooraan gelegen aan een 4-baanse hoofdweg. Aan de achterkant een andere drukke baan. Luchtkwaliteit was allicht erg slecht.'

'The hotel is easily reached by bus from either Derby or Nottingham. However, if you plan to do a lot of sightseeing in the area, it's probably best to have your own car.
In spite of its proximity to M1, the hotel is set in a quiet and pleasant location. Most of the staff was very kind and helpful: one of them was on the same bus as us when we arrived, and kindly walked us from the bus stop to the hotel. This was especially nice since we arrived late in the evening. Just the receptionist we...

'We absolutely loved our stay from beginning till almost the end. When we arrived we were told by the male staff member that breakfast was included. At check out that turned out not to be the case. We should have checked ourselves, but the insincere apology from the manager is the reason why we left somewhat disappointed.'

'Loved the facilities at this hotel and the onsite bar was pretty decent quality. Check in experience could be improved as despite 3 staff on the desk, self check-in was preferred and the free parking option we purchased was not clear how to redeem.'
