'We loved our stay at Placid Village. Ideal for short distance away from the Carvoeiro beach. You do need a car I think to make it easy to move around, the walk to the beach is quite steap and would not recommend. The appartment itself is in a good state, really spacious. Even had a washing machine which we used. Also a large supermarket located nearby, a 5 minute drive. '

'Het appartement was prima, service en netheid van de kamer super, dicht bij voorzieningen, openbaar vervoer en winkels. Leuke authentieke Portugese restaurantjes zijn wat verder verwijderd of we hebben ze niet gevonden.Dat was jammer.Het strand is nooit ver weg.'

'We had a very nice holiday. The penthouse is great, very clean and spacious. Everything you need is provided. On the best location of Praia da Rocha. Good supermarket Spar for breakfast and great restaurant Vinhos&Comidas on 50 mtr. Graca was very kind and helpfull. Excellent place for 4 pers to stay.'

'Geweldig verblijf met aardige, vrolijke gastvrouw ! Locatie is in een mooie villawijk: rustig en met een prachtig uitzicht. Fijn om een ruime tuin te hebben met tafel, stoelen en ligbedden. Auto kan ook op eigen terrein geparkeerd worden. Besef wel dat het huis uit 2 delen bestaat. Je verblijft in het onderste deel. Het bovenste deel wordt ook verhuurd maar daar hebben wij geen last van gehad. '

'Honestly when I read the reviews about this place after my husband booked, I was very sceptical. People said it was dirty, had cockroaches, no hot water. None of this was true. About the hot water, you must realize that water heaters in Europe are half the size of North American ones. We had plenty of hot water. The only thing we didn't like are the beds are a little hard but it was the same at the previous place we stayed. We made do. Also tile floors are always cold which I'm not fond of but...

'Prima appartement voorzien van allles wat nodig is voor een goed verblijf. Dicht bij de haven en het centrum, winkel op loop afstand. Geen geluidsoverlast. Strand op loop afstand. Goed bereikbaar met de auto en gratis parkeren. Een aanrader.'
