It features 6 bedrooms, 4 and a half bathrooms, and can comfortably sleep 14-16 people. Two of the bedrooms have private baths. The home offers ample living space, including three lounge areas and two enclosed porches. Relax on the porch with Barnstable Harbor as your backdrop or enjoy a game of pool in the upstairs lounge. The custom gourmet kitchen is fully equipped to handle any meal. The casual dining room, along with a table on the adjacent covered porch, provides plenty of seating for everyone.

Walk 600 feet down the road to reach your private association beach on Barnstable Harbor, offering stunning views of Sandy Neck Lighthouse across the water. Remember to return each evening for beautiful sunsets over the bay! You can also stroll to Barnstable Harbor to enjoy a meal at Mattakeese Wharf, try fresh fish from Osterville Fish, or board a whale-watching tour—all within a five-minute walk from the residence. Venture a bit further into Barnstable Village for additional dining options, a local market, and a gourmet coffee shop.

Head back to the house to wrap up the day by the fire pit and plan the next day's activities! Consider a trip to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard from nearby Hyannis, or spend a day exploring Main Street in Hyannis and the JFK Museum.

Perfect House for Large Group

If you’re considering booking this house, do it! It’s great for a large group. It’s a minute walk down to the beach. The backyard fire pit makes for a great place to gather. Highly, highly recommend!

A Labor Day to remember

We had a family reunion at this house, which included five individual families. It is a gorgeous house, and a location can’t be beat! No one ever got tired of the beach, the fire pit, the ping-pong table, the kayaks and paddle board, or just the overall comfortableness of the house. It’s great for groups and has lots of room! The only issue we had was the washing machine and mold. We made the property manager aware and they did everything to try and fix it, however, I think it just needs some new parts. They were extremely responsive with any questions we had, and I highly recommend them! You can’t be the location for the house! A true summer on the Cape!

The most perfect weekend

Wow. This home and location are everything. Yes, we had amazing weather but when I asked the kids what they loved the most it was running through the house :) The house has an amazing lay out with a million bedrooms/beds and bathrooms. Two staircases which made for very fun games of hide and seek. The outdoor shower and fire pit were awesome. The hidden bedroom above the garage was fantastic. Every possible beach toy, chair, towel, that you would ever need. Don't bring anything - this house has it all. And all of this on a tiny one lane street. The kids could easily walk to and from the beach themselves. We could pop back to the house for anything within minutes. Private beach where we could leave our chairs and toys. Town was super close for a coffee at Nirvana. Lunch from Osterville was wildly convenient (we could walk). I really don't have anything bad to say. Don't sleep on this spot. Book it with your friends and your fam today.

Incredible house, there wasn’t anything we didn’t have to make wonderful Thanksgiving memories! There was something for everyone. Right down to the s’mores at the fire pit while the Turkey was cooking! Thank you! We’ll be back….

Cape Cod Experiment

The property was great. Enjoyed the fire pit numerous nights. Very well stocked with just about everything you would need for kids, teenagers, and adults. Loved having four different porches and numerous areas for the 13 of us to spread out. Pretty Picky Property staff was amazing and very responsive to our inquiries/requests.

Family vacation in Barnstable

66 Harvey Ave in Barnstable is a great house to rent for a multigenerational vacation. We were 7 adults and 4 kids under 5. There was plenty of room for everyone. The outside space, back patio and side yard were perfect places to gather for kids and adults alike. The house is so well equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, everything you need for the beach. They even had 2 beach buggies to load up all stuff for the beach, so helpful. The house itself was also very well equipped with everything you could need. The location of the house to the beach was just perfect for our little ones to walk to the beach and so easy to walk back to house. The kids loved looking for creatures at low tide, it was great entertainment for them. All in all it was a great house to rent, it was a memorable vacation.

Perfect site for a family celebration

We selected this property as home base for a 10 day family reunion including 14 people ranging from 1 year to 84 years old. The site was perfect — room for everyone to spread out, a well appointed kitchen and living spaces, terrific yard games and backyard spaces — and the location with beach access was ideal. We would have liked to have the shower window shade repaired as promised, but that was not a big deal in the scheme of a terrific week.

Nice family getaway house

Our boys loved the pool table on the second floor! The study area carved out in the middle of the upstairs was lovely. The fire place in one of the sitting areas kept us warm and cozy. And the kitchen had all the cookware and bakeware we needed, which made our stay very easy! All of us enjoyed our hot cocoa and tea by the fire pit outside one evening. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes, which was awesome! Finally, all the rooms were very nicely accessorized. Overall, a wonderful getaway place!

Absolutely Perfect!

66 Harvey is the perfect place to stay with your family. It is a stones throw away from the beach, the house is beautifully designed, and the amenities are accessible for everyone. I cannot wait to go back! We loved be big fresh patio with the fire pit. The kitchen had everything we needed. Each guest felt comfortable and had plenty of space to sprawl out. I could not have asked for a better house to stay! We especially loved how CLEAN it was!

Loved it all only prob was cleaning company didn’t clean oven well in return some butter or oil from prior guest smoked up house from oven twice setting off alarms . Otherwise stay was flawless !

Awesome week

The house was immaculate when we arrived. I rented this for my own family of 5 with 3 young kids, but when we saw how big it was we hosted a few other guests for a few nights each. Everything was perfect. A very quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. 75 yards to the private beach. The house had everything we needed and then some. Ping pong table for the kids, pool table, a bunk room that sleeps 6, great backyard space. My kids said it was their second favorite vacation second to Disney.

Our hostess house is so well laid out, and she didn’t fail to think of a thing a vacationing family would need. Convenient and private location. Even my 7 year old granddaughter said she wanted to go back to the same spot and no other. Even has a reading room to snuggle the lil ones and read her selection of wonderful children’s classics. Nighttime on the back haven patio around the fireplace is magical and memorable. Even has French doors to the garage so you don’t feel like you are near a garage.
