Perfect for walkers, The Dovecote is right at the heart of many established public footpaths and walkways. Ideal for walkers of all abilities, there is some stunning scenery and leisurely strolls along the side of the river to more taxing trails along the rugged fells. The Teesway footpath is easily accessible and takes guests through to the village of Cotherstone and beyond, or maybe head towards Mickleton and then even further afield towards Middleton-in-Teesdale. Other walks lead towards the reservoirs of Grassholme or across towards Hury. In the heart of Romaldkirk is an award-winning pub and restaurant, so why not enjoy a lovely meal on the walk back towards the property. A little further afield, guests will be able to leave their car behind at the Bowlees Visitor Centre and then walk along to two of the most incredible waterfalls in the area, Low Force and High Force.
