'Beautiful place, wonderful people, good food, overall awesome!'

'I had a beautiful one hour full body massage from the therapist. She uses oils that are produced by the owner. My wife and I enjoyed two glorious days at the retreat. The rooms and verandahs are astounding with particular care given to the quality of the building and its surrounds. All our meals were served by experienced friendly staff and nothing could be faulted. We could truthfully say that no one would be disappointed with this lovely place. We were truly sad to leave.'

'I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new and comfortable accomodation. The place is ran by a loving family, who goes above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasent stay. They helped us book tours, gave us names of great local eats, and even allowed us to check out at 4pm so that we would have enough time to visit one more waterfall, come back to the hotel and shower before leaving. 'Wij hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in Puri Lumbung Cottages. De ligging en het uitzicht zijn schitterend, de kamers verzorgd en het personeel zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam. We hebben een prachtige wandeling gemaakt door het dorp, de rijstvelden, de jungle en ten slotte met een kano het meer overgestoken. De gids die we via het hotel hadden geregeld spraak zeer goed Engels en wist ontzettend veel over natuur en cultuur wat een grote toegevoegde waarde aan de wandeling gaf.'

'Great location if you want to explore the nearby waterfalls on foot. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room, and the restaurant closes quite early (around 8:30 PM). We also had a few insects in the room, and the mosquito net didn’t fully cover the bed. Still, the surroundings were lovely and peaceful.'

'Only 7 cabins so it is very quiet and peaceful. Floor to ceiling windows with gorgeous views. The staff are very attentive to every need, even coming to the cabin when they changed water filters to make sure we didn’t drink the water until it was tested. Would definitely go back!'

'My wife and I and my wife's sister stayed in one of the 2-BR villas at Dusun Bedugul Asri in September 2025. We were very satisfied with our stay there. We went to the area because we wanted to see the Bali Botanical Garden, which is nearby. It was a bit too far to walk, but the hotel quickly arranged a good driver for us. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully landscaped. It's actually like a miniature botanical garden. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant food was...

'This is a great place to escape from it all. Well-designed and comfortable facilities surrounded by ricefields, with friendly and efficient staff and good food and drinks. Nothing to complain about.'

'Spontan gefunden und absolut Happy mit der Wahl. 2 sehr nette junge Männer haben uns einen tollen Abend erleben lassen. Lecker Dinner und ein Feuer gegen die Kälte. Wir wussten gar nicht, dass es in Bali abends so kalt sein kann. Die Container bieten Alles was man braucht und wie haben super geschlafen. Wer mal etwas anderes ausprobieren möchte, ist bei CSS super aufgehoben. Danke für die unvergessliche Zeit 🙏🤗'

'notre hotel le plus agreable qui se vit comme une ecxperience.la vue au dessus des arbres est une immersuon paisible dans la jungle.la balade des cascades est magnifique, le personnel adorable.Pour ine experience plus forte qu un hotel classique,je le recommande.Pas possible si on a des soucis pour se déplacer. Un detail, l'eau est fournie.'

'Zeer rustig verblijf in Munduk gehad. Een puntje dat mag verteld worden is dat de zwembaden niet worden verwarmd en aangezien het in Munduk kouder is is dit toch iets om over na te denken'

'Only a few shops nearby,mainly for the locals The bathroom was very small,so everytime you shower you have to remove the toiletpaper first,to prevent it from getting wet.And the bed was very high,at least 20 cm to high for me and I am 1.81 m tall. The property had it's own restaurant with a reasonable menu at reasonable prices.'

'Wonderful place nicely decorated and gardened. Neighbouring camp site makes loud music for the whole lake untill 11pm and from 6:30am. Horrible if you were looking for a quiet peacefull paradise to enjoy. Only frogs and birds should be heard in concert. Tent is damp with some mould. Ventilation is not mastered. Service here is excellent. Free bike and canoeing. Good restaurant. breakfast a la carte,no buffet. '
