Welcome to our beautifully decorated condo in Klonteska, one of the most centrally located areas on Beech Mountain! We are conveniently located within walking distance of City Hall, the Police Station, the Visitor Center, the sledding hill, several restaurants, and so much more.

You can walk to the popular Brick Oven Restaurant, where, weather permitting, you can enjoy MINI GOLF and FREE MOVIES on a large outdoor screen! You can also stroll over to the charming Fred’s Mercantile for groceries or anything else you may need during your stay. Their motto says it best: “If we don’t have it, you don’t need it!” 😉

⛷️ Ski-In/Ski-Out Convenience

Our condo is approximately 400 feet—or about a 1-minute walk—from the nearest ski slope. During ski season, guests can simply walk to the slope, ski down, and use the lifts to make their way back up the mountain. When conditions permit, you can also ski back toward the condo, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy a day on the slopes without having to drive or worry about resort parking.

🌲 A Mountain Getaway in Every Season

Beech Mountain is beautiful year-round!

In the spring, summer, and fall, there are numerous beautiful hiking trails nearby to explore. During the winter, many of the trails can also be enjoyed with snowshoes, which are available to rent locally at reasonable prices.

Whether you’re visiting for skiing and snow activities in the winter, hiking and exploring during the warmer months, or simply looking for a peaceful mountain escape, there’s always something to enjoy.

🏡 The Condo

Our condo has 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and sleeps up to 8 guests.

Primary Bedroom:
The primary bedroom is adjacent to the main back deck and features a queen-size bed, flat-screen TV with Amazon Fire Stick, and a private en-suite bathroom. The bathroom includes a Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, dual sinks, and toilet.

Second Bedroom:
The second bedroom features a queen-size bed, flat-screen Smart TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower/tub combination. This bedroom also has its own private balcony.

Third Bedroom:
The third bedroom includes a queen-size bed and a twin-size bunk bed, making it a great space for children or additional guests. The third full bathroom is located adjacent to the bedroom and features a shower/tub combination. This bedroom also has a flat-screen Smart TV.

🍳 Kitchen & Dining

Our open kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and everything you need to prepare a meal, from a quick breakfast to a gourmet dinner. We provide plenty of cookware, utensils, and dinnerware for larger groups.

The dining area features a large table with seating for up to 10 people, making it the perfect gathering place for family meals, games, and conversations.

🔥 Cozy Family Room

Our family room is cozy, comfortable, and inviting, with a gas fireplace that makes it especially warm and welcoming after a day of skiing, hiking, or exploring Beech Mountain.

There is a sofa, loveseat, and three additional accent chairs, providing plenty of comfortable seating for larger groups.

The family room also includes a small desk with an HP printer/scanner. The condo has WiFi, cable TV, and FREE Netflix for your convenience and entertainment.

⛰️ Two Decks & Beautiful Mountain Views

One of the things that makes our condo truly special is that you can enjoy the outdoors from both the front and back decks.

Our back decks offer beautiful year-round long-range views overlooking Grandfather Mountain and Sugar Mountain. The main deck features sliding chairs and a large picnic table, making it a wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee, a meal with family, or simply relax and take in the mountain scenery.

We also provide additional camping chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler for your convenience.

Our newer front deck offers an entirely different experience. Here, you can sit surrounded by nature and enjoy watching the local wildlife. Keep an eye out for deer, chipmunks, squirrels, groundhogs, hummingbirds, and so much more! Be sure to check out our photos to see just how close you may get to some of our mountain neighbors. 🦌🐿️

🏔️ Our Building & Location

Our unit is located in the newest and highest-elevation building in Klonteska. It is a single-level condo located on the second floor.

There are 11 steps to the entrance—five steps, a small landing, followed by another six steps. These steps lead directly to our beautiful new front deck.

Our building has four units, with six parking spaces in front of the upper units, including Units 2 (ours) and 4.

Whenever possible, we recommend parking in the larger parking area, which accommodates two cars parked one behind the other. The condo association allows our unit three parking spaces. If you need a third space, you may park along the side or behind the building.
