Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! "

You have a coastal walk of Strangford Lough, an amazing Castle, all the village amenities and great pubs, with the Dufferin Arms providing that that fantastic Irish atmosphere and experience (stones throw from Driftwood. "I had a few rooms booked as part of a wedding party. I was in 2 of the rooms to accommodate the children at night. One bed very comfy tho a bit soft for my liking....the other bed was so uncomfortable and creaked if we moved at all in it so quite a restless night. All rooms were very clean. Breakfast staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. Good selection for breakfast including a gluten free section too. We did not available of any other food. Emmett did my checking in and changing names on each room and was so professional. I was treated well by another receptionist (I cant remember her name) further into my stay but while waiting for her to check out something for me, the other receptionist was extremely rude when answering the phone and quiet abrupt to people at the desk which certainly was not a good impression. Bar area was tidy with plenty staff whenever we used it. The only complaint we had was on one side of the building the view was of a multi storey car park and a cement wall which was very disappointing for the price. Only we had an itinerary to follow I would have asked for a refund/room change as it was very unacceptable"
