'This is a lovely place to stay, right on the water. The breakfasts are amazing! We enjoyed our stay.'

'The buffer breakfast was the best thing and the staff in dining room were really nice. The hotel is very run down, paint peeling, curtain linings rotten, so outdated, terrible shame. Swimming pool a disgrace, it’s crumbling, they should remove the mess in the pool at least to show they are actually trying. The whole thing needs to be replaced.'

'Beetje gedateerde accomodatie. Men is wel bezig de buitenzijde op te knappen. Restaurant is niet heel erg bijzonder. Prijs van de gerechten is vrij prijzig voor wat je krijgt. Voor een overnachting om bijvoorbeeld whale watching te gaan doen voldoet het wel. Helaas zijn er niet veel andere opties ook het eilandje. Vond het duur betaald.'

'Dit is een goed hotel, vriendelijke ontvangst, mooie schone kamer met een lekker bed. Hotel is in prima staat. Ontbijt was goed verzorgd, fijne ruimte (serre) om te ontbijten. Bijzonder goed/snel internet, tv was minder (Nog dikke beeldbuis), beeld niet scherp. '

'We booked a room for three a week in advance, but it was only stocked for two-towels, cups, etc.'

'Great stay! Campground manager, Kelly, is fantastic. Made check in smooth and gave lots of recommendations for the area, and surrounding areas as well. We booked the cabin with full amenities and it had everything we needed. The BBQ was an added bonus. Campground was quiet when we were there and close to the community of Bear River which had coffee shops, gas station, art galleries and a small grocery store. Excellent choice if you’re looking for camping or a rustic cabin experience.'

'Er wordt ontbijt aangeboden, meer een Canadees ontbijt. Jammer van plastic bestek met uiteraard de wegwerpcups. Direct aan een drukke weg, wat in de nacht zeker meevalt. De kamer is gigantisch groot. Ontbijt in een weekend of fst dag kun je niet gebruiken als je met de ferry van 8.00 gaat, omdat je 1 uur tevoren daar moet zijn. Het ontbijt is dan niet om 6, maar vanaf 7 beschikbaar. '

'The Hotel was ideally located for our trip to St. John, easy on and off the major freeway to all the places we wanted to explore. The room was clean and up to date plenty of places to charge your electronics. The best thing about the Chateau was the staff, Rachel at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. The lady who made our coffee and served us our breakfast in the morning was delightful, friendly and cheerful a great way to start your day. We are sorry but we can't remember what her...

'Lovely decor with comfortable beds. Wonderful home cooked breakfast of waffles bacon fresh fruit and boiled egg one morning and lovely omelet with croissants and homemade jam the other morning!! Art and Martha were delightful hosts. Will return again if in the area.'
