'Picked the grand room and it was very dirty. Smelled bad and obvious stains all over the floors, walls, couch and windows. Screen in the bathroom had tons of smushed bugs all over it they never bothered to wipe clean. Mold and mildew all over the bathroom fixtures from neglect. Also very very cold at night in the mountains with no in room heating and just a single thin blanket. Checked out after just one night of a 3 night stay because of the terrible conditions and they refused to refund...

'Fantastic experience! The Hanok is beautiful: the atmosphere immediately felt warm and welcoming. It was quiet and more spacious than we thought. It felt new and well maintained. The location is great: many interesting historical and touristic sites are within walkable distance. There was a great variety of coffee shops and restaurants in the area as well. We would recommend to friends and family in a heartbeat or book again ourselves for a cozy getaway!'

'Amazing location, room 1 had view of Yasaka Pagoda right outside the window. Units were very comfortable and had everything we needed, small kitchen, laundry and wonderful bathroom with soaking tubs. Staff was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We stayed with kids and another family. One thing to note, because of tourist crowding on the street it’s not possible for taxi/uber to get right to the hotel, you need to walk a bit to get there. Fine for us but just something to know.'
