« 全体的に綺麗で、古すぎない和風な感じが良かった。個人的に夜の中庭の雰囲気がおしゃれで好みだった。また、宿主のメールでの対応も良かった。ただ、中庭は石が敷いてあり、テーブルや椅子が不安定な点が少し気になった。 »

« 宿自体はとてもキレイで快適だったが、残念ながら隣のEAST宿泊者に恵まれず不満が残った。特に畳の部屋が隣接しているようで、話の内容まで丸聞こえ。日付が変わっても宴会を続け、オーナーの奈良旅館に直接電話し注意してもらっても改善されず、結局眠気が勝るまで寝付けなかった。尚案内メールに記載の携帯電話は夜間のためか繋がらず、ネットで調べた固定電話に電話して対応していただいた。その点においてコミュニケーションを星2とした。宿自体、宿側の対応に落ち度はないだけにとても残念でした。 »

« We stayed in Tokyo and Osaka prior to our stay here in Kyoto at Maeniiya Machiya Inn. Maeniiya Machiya Inn is a definite great place to stay and close to everything. Akemi (property owner) is a wealth of knowledge and gave a lot of tips and recommendations. Be sure to visit Sukemasa for dinner if you like Gyoza. It is very close and yummy for 1000yen! « Owner was friendly, kind and flexible, let us put our stuff in the room hours before check-in and gave us cook recommendations on things to do around kyoto when we asked. »

« とても清潔で少しレトロ感も有り最高でした近隣も静かで本当に落ち着ける宿だと思います観光地に歩いて行ける距離である事も最高です更に、自炊が出来る状態なので買ってきたものを軽くお料理も出来ますウェルカムドリンク（お酒）が有り楽しみながらいただけます。事前チェックイン web上でチェックインが出来るのでとても良い感じですが、身分証明が必要で必須です予約前には分からないので気にされる方はご注意下さい。設備で気になる点お風呂の中から外をよく見ると丸見えになる部分があります。バスタオルで目隠ししました。希望バスマットと食器を吹く物があったらうれしいかも »

« Charming townhouse showcasing classical Japanese style. Only a short walk from the station. Very friendly staff in the guest building. »

« Overall a really good place to stay. The pots and pans could have been better. Only had a couple and one was really really used- the bottom was scraping off so we did not use it. Kind of limited our cooking options. Not a lot of places to store stuff. Would be better if they had dressers for clothes and maybe some sort of cabinet for toiletries- not a lot of counter space for toiletries. But overall really good place to stay! Blankets were really warm. Good service and good communication. Nice...

« We had a wonderful stay! The place was very nice—clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Having a refrigerator and kitchen was very helpful, especially for preparing quick meals and storing snacks. The 7-Eleven just a short walk away was also super convenient. The owners were incredibly helpful and kind, always quick to respond and genuinely caring. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Hope to return again soon! »
