'For a change the online pictures do not do a property justice. This fantastic and newly renovated lodge is set in acres of spectacular and interesting grounds. Everything has been done to a very high standard, including the service, rooms and on-site dining. Set 10 or so Kms from Rotarua it avoids the "smells". Our room was one of the smaller ones and lacked a good view, but nevertheless was well appointed and very comfortable (heated floors in the bathroom - wow!!) We enjoyed our stay...

'Zeer nette accommodatie. Goed uitgeruste gemeenschappelijke keuken. Ruime berging voor eigen voedsel. Vriendelijke uitbaters, rustige omgeving, sanitair gedeelte binnenin het gebouw, handdoeken beschikbaar. Enig minpunt te weinig douches beschikbaar het duurt wel even voor je aan de beurt komt vooral ‘s morgens'

'A very comfortable stay! The rooms provided were very clean and quiet. There is ample carparking along the street however, everyday is a lottery as Queenstown can be quite busy. The only nitpick comment I would have to make is that the room can be a little too dim. The size of the rooms are huge but the amount light can be a bit insufficient. During the day there is just enough natural light which is fine.'
