This stay was not what we expected. Although the host was very kind and responsive, we were ultimately disappointed.The property is advertised as a private apartment, but it is actually one condo divided into sections, based on the information provided we expected something more like a next door neighbor, but this is not the case. We were separated only by locked doors. This resulted in very little privacy, as we could constantly hear other occupants’ footsteps and when they used the bathroom at 2 am. Cleanliness was a major issue. The floors were visibly dirty and not properly mopped, with grease buildup. The stove, microwave, dining table, and coffee table were poorly cleaned and had grease stains. The sofa bed was dirty, in very poor condition, and appeared not to have fresh linens. Several kitchen items were unusable due to poor cleaning, including dishes and glasses with food residue, a greasy toaster, and a rusted kettle. We tried to make tea and honestly we decided not to after seeing the condition of the kettle. The bathroom floors and baseboards were also visibly dirty and yellowed, giving the impression that the space was not properly cleaned or disinfected.Despite the host’s good communication, the overall condition of the unit and lack of privacy did not meet expectations.
