  • Incredible location right off Guadalupe St. Super close to UT, Downtown, and includes a parking space! Our one-bedroom is spectacularly located in the Central Austin area and includes 1 unreserved parking spot! It`s close to the Frank Erwin Center, UT Baseball stadium, UT football stadium, and downtown Austin. It also hosts a mounted Smart TV, perfect for rainy days. The apartment comfortably accommodates 2 people with a queen bed in the bedroom.

    If you`re searching for a place that`s walkable and in the heart of all of the bars and restaurants just north of the Drag then you`ve found it with our home! Our recently completely remodeled Central Austin apartment is the perfect launching pad for your Austin adventure or staying in town for that business meeting or conference at UT. The location is excellent with 1 parking spot included (additional free street parking available) and easy access to University of Texas campus, the Drag, and Downtown. The apartment is close to the Adams Hemphill Neighborhood Park, which has walking trails, swings, and a playground. There is also a shared outdoor pool for those crazy hot Austin summers!

    Being located across the street from the famous Wheatsville Food Co-op grocery store and walking distance to many great bars and restaurants such as Via 313 (best Austin Detroit style pizza), El Patio (since 1954), Spider House cafe (an `Austin Institution` by the Washington Post and `one of the 10 best destinations in America` by USA Today), Black`s BBQ, Texas French Bread, Hopfields, Torchy`s Tacos, and Trudy`s makes this an incredible location.

    The apartment has one air conditioning window unit with a wall control that keep the place cool even in the hot Austin summers! It also keeps the apartment warm in the winter or those occasional chilly nights.

    Work from home or keep the family entertained at home with high speed wifi and a large smart TV. Stream your favorites on Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ and more!

    This apartment also comes with an unreserved parking space very close to the home! There are two coin operated laundry rooms on site for your convenience.

    Scooters (Lime & Bird) as well as Lyft and Uber are the best ways to get around Austin, especially this close to everything. However, there are also a lot of public transportation options in this area (see CapMetro`s website).
    We have security cameras outside of our property at the entrances for added security and your peace of mind. We do not have any cameras inside, respecting our guests` privacy.
    1) No smoking allowed (of any kind) ($350 fine)
    2) No loud noises after 10 PM per city ordinance
    3) No events or parties
    4) No pets allowed
    5) The cleaning that you pay for is to clean the home prior to your stay. If you do not pick up after yourself sufficiently when you check out, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee - price depends on how long it takes to clean up after you. We don`t expect you to scrub the home, but simply pick up your trash and put everything where you found it
    6) Minimum age requirement is 25
    7) If you do not check out on time (11AM) you will be charged an additional night
    8) Please see the House Manual emailed to you a few days before your stay

Adequate accomodations.

The unit was a bit smaller than expected but accomodated our small group. The unit was clean and well furnished. However, the pool was too dirty to enjoy. Communication with the host was good and the location was fine for our needs.

Apartment was on the ground level with convenient parking right next to the front door if spot was available. Didn’t have to struggle with my large suitcases getting into the apartment. Clean and well kept apartment with some convenient touches, such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dispenser. Coffee/coffee filters in the kitchen and dishwashing soap etc. I was visiting my daughter at UT Austin so location was super convenient, quite and (walkable), a couple of blocks in, off of Guadeloupe and close to other conveniences such as gas station, Torchey’s, drive in hamburgers and Kerbey Lane for a great breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Fine place but adverse experience with management

I was sent the wrong door code for a two-night stay set to begin on Friday night, the 11th. I arrived with my S.O. and when we couldn't get into the apartment, we tried calling management twice to no avail. I saw there was a number provided I could text too, but there was no answer. We tried the wrong door code so many times, the Schlage device on the door started making a siren sound. We then left the premises to find accommodations for the night, which ended up costing over $400 for the hotel room alone. A lady named Meghan I was messaging on Airbnb's app was helpful on the following Saturday morning to get me the correct door code. However, my gripe is that, when I requested a refund, I was told I could only be refunded the hotel cost, rather than the hotel cost plus the cost of the Airbnb for that first Friday night. Airbnb precluded me from collecting the entire amount that first Friday night would have cost me anyways, but at the least I believe I deserved to be reimbursed for the hotel AND half the cost of the Airbnb. Aside from this, after we figured out the door code on Saturday morning and Meghan apologized to me via message on Airbnb, there was no follow-up from anyone. No one offered any further assistance, even after I mentioned the hotel cost from Friday night. In fact, I kept getting messages to pay for a late checkout or let management know if I was checking out early so they can get a head start on cleaning for the next guest. That's the issue I see with property management companies running Airbnb sites -- there's a lack of personal touch, which is part of the whole allure of Airbnb. For what it's worth, the apartment itself was clean, well kept, and in a good location. The wifi and tv didn't work during our stay, but honestly we weren't going to use it much, it was just another slight disappointment. At this point, the extra money isn't even the issue, it's really just the principle.

Great location - Unclean accommodations

Mildew odor permeated apartment. We realized that the shower curtain liner hem was covered in mildew The fabric upholstery on the one sofa (only seating surface beyond two bar stools) was stained and looked unclean, ditto some decorative cushions on the sofa and bed. The floor may have been swept but not mopped as it was dusty and gritty in some places. Even thought we followed the house rules on using the window A/C regarding thermostat setting, the unit began making a knocking noise the second afternoon. The noise continued for almost 12 hours. When I called the contact number for the hosts, the management company representative told me that she could send someone to look at it right away but that they would probably have to remove it from the wall to repair it. She remarked that it would have been better if I'd called earlier in the day. We opted to deal with the noise so that our already uncomfortable and almost-at-an-end stay wouldn't become more so. This is the first disappointing experience that I have had with Air BnB. My expectations built around the unit's profile and photos were very different than the accommodations provided.

Cleaning

I pay a cleaning fee for a reason. I'd rather not have to worry about washing dishes, putting towels on the ground or taking the trash out. I didn't see that when booking, but would've been a deal breaker. The reason people use Airbnb is that most don't require that. It's so vrbo.

Many issues

The host provided a stellar AirBnB. Everything past the front door was Great! That said; the property was at best maintained. Worse was the use of Marijuana (Which is still illegal) filled the AirBnB with the stench of burning cow patties nightly. The residents and there guests were less than accommodating to the Managements Quiet Hours, 4:30AM booming music from a Truck parked right outside the apartment, so loud it shook the walls ( Morning 1) 3:30AM fighting between a man and a woman loud enough that I could understand both of them and I have a verified hearing loss (2nd Morning), banging fists into the walls of the buildings Hardiplank exterior enough to jolt me from the couch to open the door and see what was happening. This all coupled with daily noise of cars, trucks and people conversations throughout the day. If you want peace and quiet this is not the place for you.
