I stayed here with a group of 13 for my trip. Everything from the listing showed it was a great place, two units to host us all. We were met with a property that did not meet up to what we were sold nor shown in photos. When arriving, 2 of the 4 doors/locks did not work with the intended key code, one of the locks was dead. The lawn was unkept, the decks were rotting with paint chipping, and fences that could be addressed. Entering the property, everything seemed well but there was numerous, unattended cosmetic and broken items. We saw large streaks on the walls, dents, rust from appliances, broken couch frame, broken couch leg, missing rugs with the posting, the fridge coolant wasn’t working, further investigation into that we found 20 cockroaches behind the fridge. I do want to highlight the positives, with the Texas heat it was great AC, beds were very pleasant, and the support for issues with the locks/doors while not 100% completely fixed, were quick and responsive. It was very disappointing to see such a nice property fail simple cosmetic, structural, and living situation checks in between stays. I discussed after my stay with the owners and they were generous to partially compensate my group. My overall stay got the job done for my trip. It is hard to imagine the issues went unaddressed; if addressed at all, but there’s no reason we should have shown up in those conditions. I hope this will bring some necessary changes to the property.
