Goede ligging op.loopafstznd van het centrum met vele winkeltes en restaurants (10-15 minuten wandelen) en dicht bij alle bezienswaardigheden (max 30 minuten wandelen). Heel vriendelijk personeel en top service. Mooie en nette kamers.

Hotel zit aan drukke weg, maar hebben daar verder geen last van gehad en je steekt de straat over en staat midden in de leuke wijk Plaka! Alles was op loopafstand, top! Personeel was mega vriendelijk, kamer en hotel zelf waren prachtig en het ontbijt keken we elke dag naar uit, zo lekker! Veel Griekse specialiteiten en lekkere broodjes, fruit en zelfgemaakte jam. Zeker weten een aanrader voor als je naar Athene gaat! :)

Super hotel!
Heel mooi en net hotel met prima kamers en super vriendelijk personeel. Het enige nadeel is dat er geen eigen parkeerplekken beschikbaar zijn. Verder echt een top hotel met een mooie rooftop bar en perfect zicht op het Akropolis. Ontbijt was ook heerlijk, goed verzorgd en vers. En het centrum en alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. Een aanrader!

We stayed here for three nights. The place was lovely. We had a king bed with a view of the Acropolis. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice. Breakfast was served at their rooftop restaurant. It was varied and delicious. The rooftop was also a nice place to sit and have a drink. We didn’t eat dinner there but I think it would be great, based on the breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place is within walking distance from the Acropolis and the Metro station. We didn’t have a car, and didn’t want to drive in Athens anyway. Overall we loved our stay at the Niche. We would gladly stay there if we came back.

We had a wonderful stay here. The Acropolis view from our room was amazing. The rooftop dining for breakfast and dinner is an experience you don’t want to miss. The staff were incredible. They were always there to assist with anything you needed and always with a smile. The room and whole hotel was spotless. Walking distance to everything. I don’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens

Great location to see everything. Very friendly helpful staff. Walked us to our departure van across the street for safety. Would recommend staying here in this area great hotel to walk to all the sites.

I loved the comfortable bed, and the walk-in shower was the best. The staff was great very helpful and informative, always going out of their way. I also enjoyed a relaxing dinner on the rooftop, looking out at the Acropolis. I definitely would go back.

I’m very disappointed and still in disbelief that we were rubbed of over 1300 Euro from our hotel room. My fiancé and I traveled quite frequently over the past few years, many times booking our trips with Expedia. We stayed in Rome, Almafi coast, Florence, Costa Rica, Turks andCaicos, Lt Lucia, the Gold Coast and Sydney Australia, cruised to Alaska, Mexico multiple times, and to countess destinations in US. We never had anything stolen from us until our stay at Niche hotel in Athens. We always bring some cash with us just in case credit cards are not accepted. We checked out of our hotel room and returned about 20 min or so later when I realized I left the envelope with cash on a desk shelf. The receptionist gave me the key but after my arrival to the room I found the door wide open as well as the windows. Housekeeping helped themselves to the trailmix bag we left behind which is fine but our cash that we had in white Bank of America envelope was no where to be found. We had to leave in a rush for our flight to Santorini and I told the receptionist that we left behind our money and to please find it. Since our departure I called the hotel several times and spoke with receptionist who claims nothing was brought in to lost and found and was told we should have used our safe. I requested to speak to the hotel manager who was never available and although I left messages and return phone number I have not received a call back.

The Niche has the best roof top view of the Acropolis and is only a 10 minute walk from the Acropolis. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home. I had a 4:00 am early flight and when I went to check out they gave us a breakfast box to take with us. Very caring and thoughtful, I would definitely stay there again.

Upon arriving, I was greeted with pleasantries by the staff. The location offers soundproof rooms, which I appreciated, as well as the free daily breakfast. The rooftop restaurant I also recommend, as you get a great view of the Acropolis. All the staff was pleasant and knowledgeable and made my stay super comfortable. It's in a prime location to public transportation, parks, and a bus tour company. I would stay here again should I find myself in Athens in the future.

The view of the Acropolis from our room and the rooftop restaurant was spectacular. While we were in a busy area, it was very convenient for access to monuments and museums. The restaurant was outstanding and the staff could not be more attentive.

One of our best hotel stays ever. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Room was immaculate, beautifully designed, and light. Views were lovely. Location could not have been better - restaurants, sights, transportation were easily accessible. Rooftop breakfast was exceptional - great selection, wonderful service and stunning views.

The hotel is pretty nice and the staff is really friendly, but there are several problems that killed the mood during the stay. 1. They have a weird AC system that doesn't automatically turn on when you get in the room and automatically turns off in the morning if you do manage to turn it on. It was really frustrating because for 2 days i didnt realize that and couldn't sleep which was just frustrating. To their credit, the staff was pretty helpful about it, but in a three night stay i dont want to deal with stuff that every hotel has already figured out. 2. Their pillows are really bad. Like i can get cheaper and way better pillows from ikea for the fraction of per night price of the room bad. They felt like i was sleeping on a hard foam block. I suspect they are just advertising for the company that supplied them the pillows. I have never seen a "pillow menu" before. All the other stuff was good, the staff is really friendly, the hotel is really clean, and the breakfast was pretty nice.

It was our first experience in Greece and it was awesome. The hotel was very convenient, clean, and the staff was great. Love the breakfast buffet up and the amazing view on the rooftop restaurant.

What makes this property a gem first is the TEAM, then the fantastic location, right by the acropolis. Best breakfast view in town. Wonderful breakfast service and food. I will come back to the same hotel.

The fact that this property is clean and well maintained…for the most part, the staff is very attentive to your needs. The roof top restaurant and employees are great! (Shout out to the Manager and Assistant Manager all are beautiful people.) The restaurant has a spectacular view of the Acropolis and city.

We had a great stay at the Niche hotel during our first trip to Greece. We stayed in a beautiful room with a view of the Acropolis, which was TOTALLY worth the money! The room was great and very clean, and I liked that we could open the window for fresh air (we are from a cold region in the US so the Greek weather felt great to us during March). The shower was really awesome!! The bathroom is carefully constructed with glass walls (obscured up to a certain height so no one can see you doing business), which allowed you to see the Acropolis while showering. Weird thing to be excited about, I know, but we loved it! The shower was also just really luxurious, even the hotel soap and lotion were nice. We chose the Niche hotel mostly for the location to all the major Athens sites. It was super easy to walk pretty much anywhere we needed. The area has tons of restaurants and convenience stores and, most importantly, coffee shops. The staff always greeted us when we left and returned to the hotel, which was nice. The included breakfast was really great considering it was a hotel breakfast. We had fresh squeezed orange juice each day and I enjoyed delicious cappuccinos. We ate at the rooftop restaurant for dinner once. We visited in March, a slower time, so we were able to walk right in and be serviced. It was super delicious and, again, we enjoyed a gorgeous view of the Acropolis at night. All in all, great experience at the beautiful Niche hotel, and we highly recommend!
