'I hate surprise fees, like PARKING for $25 per day! Also the free breakfast had powdered eggs. No restaurant ever uses powdered eggs, nor should any hotel. Powdered eggs are for homeless shelters. The rest of the breakfast items were great, big selection..'

'Princess Royale Resort is a family friendly hotel. The food is great and the hotel rooms are newly renovated and clean. Direct access to the beach from the hotel makes it even better. One thing I do wish the hotel included is free beach umbrellas and chairs. Daily rental of an umbrella and three chairs cost $80 a day, which is a bit expensive considering their hotel room rates. Be sure to bring your own beach umbrella and chair to avoid that high cost.'

'Staff was pleasant. Coffee machine in lobby did not work. Air Conditioning did not work in room. No Shampoo or Conditioner in the room. They did have available at the front desk. You have to ask. Bathroom was not clean. Stuff in sink and sand in shower.'

I think everyone should get it or just leave it in the room of those guest that are getting one..felt unwelcome form the first moment. 'Nice hotel. Clean. Parking is 20.00 a day. OC is now charging resort style rates without resort services. Chairs and umbrellas, shuttles, towels at the pool, etc...all provided by resorts. The resturant was ok. Waited over 30 minutes for a coffee. It was also $$$ but it was home made pastry. The pool is nice. It is in the back by the highway. No snack bar, no towels. TIP: there are no places to hang wet beach/pool apparel. I bring plastic skirt hangers to hand my wet towels and bathing suits, as...

'Staying in a refurbished Lighthouse was unique experience. The rooms are essentially pie shaped with an inviting beach theme. The bed was very comfortable and I loved having 6 full sized pillows. Our fridge was stocked every morning with fruit, OJ, complimentary muffins, and yogurt. There were also various beverages and water. There was a keurig in the room as well as at the coffee bar in the Common room. Outside the Common room is a long porch which faced the bay, and was wonderful to relax...
