Originally booked Casa del Charco for 7 nights but only stayed for 5....spent two nights in Costa Teguise, which I will say why shortly in my review.
The house is as described and is really nice and homely. Everything you need is there. The only thing we did miss was a full length mirror which would have been nice, and for whatever reason we couldnt work out, non of the sinks in the house had plugs, which made it difficult to wash and was also a waste of water...
The veranda's were the main attraction for us and the view from them is great. Just be aware there is noise from the bars/cafes below, especially on Friday/Sat night when it was really busy. By 12:30am it soon all finishes and is quiet....never bothered us with sleeping at all.
The only other noise, which we did find a tad annoying, was from 2 barking dogs which seemed to live on the roof on the building next door. They were out 24/7 and at times were barking at us on the balcony and at one of the neighbours who was antagonising them making it worse....we did have breakfast on the verandah one morning and had to go out earlier than we planned as the barking was just to much....just being totally honest, wouldnt put me off staying but not what we came away for having to listen to dogs barking sometimes.
We booked for 7 nights and as previously stated stayed for only 5. This was no reflection on Ana's place, it was down to Arrecife itself. We just didn't gel with the place at all. Just another town which away from the bars/ cafes below didnt really do much for us, and 5 days was enough for us to see it all. Visited Lanzarote many times and sadly city life was not for us.
There is a great little supermarket behind the cinema building which we used to get breakfast stuff. Loads of Tapas places to eat in and restaurants to. Great beach about 15min walk down the promenade, which to our surprise was virtually empty.
We had our last 2 nights in Costa Teguise which was poles apart from Arrecife, but had a great time there.
To sum up, the house is brilliant, and Ana was a great host, but Arrecife itself was not for us.
