'The first night was noisy a car came into car park at 2am and was blasting music out and guest or two banging doors and knocking on door The second night was better. Only a two night stay for an event. Housekeeping on Saturday did not replace complimentary tea and coffee bin not emptied and beds not straightened up after 1st night. It's basic no thrills hotel. Also lift out of order.'

'If you are visiting Sheffield you can’t go wrong with a stay at this hotel. So easy into sheffield( we were at the Arena) lovely and clean and new. Fab staff and service and food was great in restaurant.'

'The cottage rooms are very tired with broken bathroom fittings and outdated sanitary ware. The bedroom needs a good clean and updating the carpets and furnishings. There are never enough staff to provide a timely dining or breakfast experience. The staff are very pleasant but the limited staffing makes a responsive service impossible. Investment required before customers start to go elsewhere.'

'Pleasantly surprised at how large the room was. While there are a few areas of wear and tear, I found the room to be comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable and even thought this location doesn’t have airco, they do have a fan in room. While small, the fan was sufficient to keep it cool enough for a good nights sleep. We would definitely return to this location, if needed, in the future. No info about breakfast because we didn’t need it but you are conveniently next to a service area so...

'The hotel was so clean from the drive, reception & bar area right through to the room. Staff were so friendly & helpful & represented the hotel very well. The room was spotless, roomy, bright, enormous super comfortable bed & had great mirrors in room & bathroom something we often get in more expensive hotels. It's in a very convenient location for M18 & link to M1 so not far at all from Doncaster lakeside outlet. Plenty of parking, Lovely Greene King pub, petrol station & fairly large...

'Great communication as a self check in with a lock box, plenty of private parking next to the accommodation. Carlton Towers has a tea room within walking distance which was convenient. Room was big with everything we needed for 2 nights. Would recommend and stay again if back in the area.'

I recommend this hotel for business trips,but also for sightseeing and making trips to other cities. Good connection with the bus to Castleford train station. Shops in the area and junction 32 outlet shopping including cinema and multiple restaurants. Also parks and nature in the area for nice walks. Thank you for the nice stay'
