'We stayed at Ennios the day and night before a cruise. Ennios is a restaurant (a good nice Italian restaurant) and has 5 rooms as well. The service is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are located on the first floor but there is no elevator. We could leave our suitcases that we didnt need at reception. The rooms are comfortable. 'Wonderful gem! We had a whirlwind stay for just 2 nights between docking at Southampton and leaving for Heathrow, but we crammed in a trip to Brighton to see family. The location of the inn was perfect: we could've gone into central Southampton easily enough, and having the train station a few minutes walk away was perfect for getting around. I only wish we'd had more energy and time to hang around the pub some more!'

'No air conditioning is really unacceptable for a Novotel hotel. Also, no phone in the room is unheard of for a Novotel property. We should get a partial refund for the above mentioned 2 major normal amenities Nit being available.'

Makes it decent value, carpark opposite is £9 for 10 hours and free midnight to 8am, check in 3pm 10hr parking gets you to 9am the next day, use the machine and pay by card not the app Good area for bars and restaurants Bed ok clean but not the best, basic overnight stay'

'Very quaint and clean with a perfect pub attached. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. A bit out of town but still a great location near a park and the river to walk. Train station in Glen Abbey is walkable. It was a bit chilly when we arrived but the room warmed up nicely'
