Aparthotels in Apostle Islands

'Redelijk nieuw hotel in nette staat. Prijs - kwaliteit verhouding niet oké; veel te duur voor het gebodene. En dan ook nog $5 voor een flesje water vragen dat bij de meeste hotels gewoon complementary is... Hotel heeft houten vloeren dus elke voetstap is een etage lager te horen. Echt niet meer van deze tijd! Continental breakfast was redelijk beperkt (zeker voor deze prijsklasse) en dan ook nog flut plastic bestek en bordjes. Geen aanrader.'

'Our room seemed dated, especially the bathroom'

'Had room 101 and anyone walking by or anyone on second floor would cause the ceiling to creek and it sounded like someone stomping all night long'

'This was a 2 star property in a 5 star location. The only window in our small room looked right out to the indoor pool and a hot tub about 8 feet away, so it was unusable. The breakfast offerings were similar to the pastries, cereal and waffles provided by other motel chains. But the location! The large lawn was right on the lake, with chairs and picnic tables. We saw a bald eagle, a blue heron, a black swan and a thousand cormorants in the bay.'

'Rooms were very clean'

'Katie and Dave are amazing hosts and the property is exceptional. Their attention to detail in each room is apparent and watching the sun set over Lake Superior was awesome. Would highly recommend the Blue Wave Inn if you are ever in the area. A trip truly worth taking.'
