'The room was compact but had all the usual requirements needed for a comfortable short stay. The usual TV and coffee and tea facilities were provided with a good size modern en-suite shower room. The owner was very friendly taking a personal pride in ensuring a generous cooked breakfast was provided on top of the variety of cereals, yogurts and fresh fruit plus fruit juices available from the breakfast bar. Being only 10 minutes walk to the centre of Stratford on Avon, this is an excellent base...

'Although in an older building, it is obvious the owners have made an effort to keep the rooms updated. Well decorated and appointed large room with large en suite. bath. Friendly service at check-in and at breakfast.'

Mooi oud pand in geweldig stadje.'

'Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing and fell short of expectations. On arrival, the staff came across as somewhat unwelcoming. At check-in, I wasn’t shown to my room and was simply pointed in the general direction. When I subsequently discovered an issue with the room and raised it, I was made to feel as though I was inconveniencing staff by bringing it to their attention. To their credit, the issue was eventually resolved, but the initial response left a poor...

'Had a pleasant overnight stay in Stratford. Hotel was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Very short walk to everything to see in Stratford. Had a couple of minor issues in our room that the helpful staff fixed up right away. Couldn't ask for more. Comfy bed and hearty breakfast. Good value all round'

'Great location, potential to be a beautiful hotel, but needs some tlc. The room was dirty, dirty toilet, headboard had stains all over it, stains on the sheets. No Iron, ironing board or even a hairdryer in the room. Not suitable for disabled people, steps outside the property, stairs everywhere, no lift. The lady on reception was very lovely and very helpful.'
