« Don't be put off by the lack of curb appeal, the apartment attached to the main home is situated at the back and has a spectacular view of the valley. The sunrise was stunning. The unit was spotlessly clean. It looked newly constructed and had a cute cottage vibe. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was suitably equipped, the bathroom had a full laundry attached. « I liked the Victorian style house apparently designed by an Italian architect as told by the owner who welcomed us with a big smile. The house, today, completely renovated still retains the charm of the era and with the collection of ceramics displayed on windowsills, shelves and tables both created by the owner himself and other artists, appears as a little jewel that I had the pleasure of experiencing even just for one night. « Did enjoy our stay. Happy for the indoor plumbing. However, being so close to the highway, you can actually hear/notice the traffic at night. We liked the our little backyard firepit picnic spot... The outdoor kitchen was different but worked out just fine. If No eating in the Geodome is part of the rules, cooking/dining in the rain should have something considered for the outdoor kitchen. Overall it was a nice little getaway :) »

« We travel as a group of 8 ( 4 brothers and their wives ) for golfing every year and decided we wanted to stay in digby. We stayed at this property and it was perfect for us. There wss actually 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms so everyone had their own space . The patio was large and plenty of chairs. The kitchen had everything we needed . We had a great time here. »

"Last minute reservation. We were really surprise by the place. It looks nothing on the pictures, looks old but the view is exceptionnal and we slept REALLY well. We arrived at 1am and the reception was close but they let us indication for our room. In the room they also write us a note to welcome us. Next morning we ate breakfast at the restaurant, which is open until 11am. We arrived at 10:55 asking if it was too late. The cook reopened his kitchen for us. We had 2 really nice waitresses only for us. Feels like we were like a Royal special guess. The suggested us nice place to visit. I really recommand that hotel. If we go back again in Nova Scotia we'll definitely go back sleep there. "

"Nous avons été « déclassé » en arrivant sur le lieu de l’hébergement. Nous avions réservé une chambre vu sur l’eau avec SDB et toilettes et nous avons eu un « cottage » avec les toilettes et la SDB dans d’autres bâtiments. Les propriétaires n’ont rien voulu savoir et n’ont fait aucun geste commercial. Le cottage n’était pas propre. C’est bien dommage car le site est calme, paisible et la vue exceptionnelle. "
