Great location and layout

Turtle Trax was very easy for us to walk to Bean Point for sunrises and over to the Gulf beaches for sunsets. The beach access trail was just a few doors down. This part of AMI is low-traffic and easy to walk or bike around. The pool was great. There were not renters in the unit behind us all week. Which may have changed our experience. The cottage was small, but the layout works fine. Would definitely try staying here again.

0 Stars. DO NOT STAY at this property or any listing for this company. Upon checking in, the space was not properly cleaned. There was an excessive amount of dog and/or human hair all over the bathroom floor, shower curtain, bedroom pillow and the white couch. The couch was so dirty we could not sit down on it. Some of the items in the kitchen we’re dirty. No hot water the first night! The water tank looked like it had been leaking for a while. The washing machine had standing water in it. Beach chairs were so rusty they were unusable and posed an additional health concern. They never replaced when requested. The outside pool waterfall was not working as advertised. We brought our crawling one year old so I ended up cleaning that night. Which they also did not provide soap or general daily cleaning materials. They did not call us back until early afternoon the next day. I texted them multiple pictures and a video of everything I just described wrong. We declined them coming to clean again because at this point I already had to because of my crawling baby and they wouldn’t have been out until late in the day. We were only there for 2 nights and found it more of an additional hassle since we already had maintenance coming in for the water heater. We ending up leaving a day early because I was completely over the unrelaxing experience. They agreed to refund me for the night, but after MULTIPLE phone calls to speak to a manager, one still has yet to return my calls or even apologize for the inconvenience. They are choosing not to refund me for any taxes or other fees including the cleaning fee. They have provided no reconciliation for any the issues we encountered.

RELAXING POOL AND HOUSE

Easy walk to beach and Rod N Reel. Easy access with the digitial door code. House fine except no provisions when power went out for over 12 hours. Suggest candles/flashlights or some emergency lights. House clean and comfortable especially with the outside shower since only one bathroom. Pool was lovely and so were the sharing neighbors! Sparse on starter package. I'd go back again!

Turtle Trax was really nice and did not disappoint! Very clean and so relaxing! We had absolutely everything we needed for the beach and the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials we needed. The beds were super comfy! The private pool was our absolute favorite!! So nice to relax by the pool of the evenings after visiting the beach. Super responsive and friendly managers! 2 blocks from AMI beach and bean point! Super close to Rod and Real Pier! Very nice location with short walk to beach access! Very nice neighborhood also. We will definitely be renting this property again!

My daughter and I planned a last minute weekend trip to Anna Maria Island. We loved Turtle Trax! It was decorated with a cute, beachy vibe. The beds were super comfortable, we loved the pool, and it was right down the street from public beach access. We enjoyed every minute here!

Quiet neighborhood, great location

We could easily walk to the beach (about 2 blocks). Beach chairs, umbrella, a few toys, and wagon were welcomed surprises. The heated pool and back yard were well maintained and table/chairs nice for relaxing. There were plenty of kitchen, bath and beach towels. Make sure you bring/buy toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, cone shaped coffee filters, salt/pepper/spices, and detergent/dryer sheets for washer dryer (regular top loading washer that takes regular detergent instead of HE) as these are not provided. We had fun riding bikes, watching the sun set, finding our favorite ice cream place with dairy-free options (Two Scoops) and seafood place (Rod and Reel Pier). We could walk to all of these places. Property management was extremely responsive to our text about door alarm being broken. They sent someone over within an hour. They also provided feedback about traffic off the island as we planned our departure time for the airport! We made so many great memories. Thanks for a great stay.

Cute home in lovely location

Our family really enjoyed this house! Compared to other places we have stayed at on AMI - this house is easily located to the beach on a quiet street. The amenities description is not correct, some things were not provided and some was there but not listed. The property is on the older side, as well as appliances and TVs. No smart TV or salt and pepper as examples. The internet is super fast. It appeared the ceiling fans can’t be turned off. The unit has absolute privacy to the other property unit. The property has an outdoor shower, which is great. Wish the shower curtain would have not been stained with black mold. Pool and chairs outside are fabulous.

Emergency After Hours Service

I arrived late on day of arrival (9pm). The front door would not work. The door handle came off right in my hand. I had to call the after hours number. The representative was so nice and so helpful. He scheduled a maintenance man to come the first thing the next morning to fix the problem. The maintenance man was there as promised and took care of it. I had an amazing week at Turtle Trax. Everything was great! Especially the service that first night. Thank you!

The perfect getaway!

I was getting nervous about the “duplex” the closer we got to checking in. I had absolutely no reason to be. When we walked in I was immediately stunned by how beautiful and homey it was. It was perfect for our family vacation. We enjoyed it so much and will probably book the same house for next time.

Simply wonderful

Great spot! The house was just as pictured. All of us and especially our 4 and 1 year old boys had the time of their lives. Bean point beach access is the prettiest beach out of all so it is nice to be so close and also to all of the yummy restaurants and shopping on pine. Went to Rod Reel Pier one night and it was super close and delicious!! We will definitely be back! Sooo sad to leave today!

Beachy, quiet, bright and perfect location for our small family.

We stayed in Turtle Trax for 11 days on our first trip to AMI. The North End of the island is the quietest and although certainly fully developed, it is the least densely populated area on the island. We rented a bike to get to the island’s amenities which worked perfectly. From the property it’s just under a mile to Pine St., the “Main Street” of the town of Anna Maria and the city pier, which was being rebuilt when we were there in May of 2019. But best of all, it’s under a 10-minute walk through the peaceful neighborhood and paths to the Gulf side beach, which in the North End of the island is quiet and peaceful. It’s also a short walk to the Bay side, which is great for little ones when the wind is blowing on the gulf side. There’s also an adorable city park on the bay side with swings, a small slide and a beach which our little guy loved! Turtle Trax is the front unit of a one-level duplex. It is the closest to the street and has has east-facing windows for bright sunny mornings and great sunset colors on the neighbors homes (and cooler in the afternoons when the sun is strong) it was perfect to have breakfast each morning in the bright and updated eat-in kitchen with our 1-year old before our morning stroll to the beach. It is decorated in classic island style and has been tastefully updated with bright island colors, new tile floors and stone countertops. We aren’t TV watchers but there’s a TV in the living room and the poolside bedroom. And the pool! It’s small, in the style of many on the island, but the waterfall adds something special and it’s a perfect size for quiet lounging and playing with kids (we did both). The pool is shared with the other unit, but the layout of the landscaping makes it private enough so as not to feel intrusive, and the waterfall adds a pleasant background noise that helps muffle conversations adding to the sense of privacy. We spent a lot of time at the pool! There is an outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach and a grill for BBQ’s. There are essentially two living areas as one is an enclosed porch off the kitchen and the other is part of the open kitchen/living/dining area. This allowed for additional privacy when inside and would make this unit a good choice for two couples to share IMO. The in-unit laundry was a welcome amenity and allowed us to pack light. Loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Wonderful week

Unit has clearly been well cared for . . . was clean . . . beds comfortable . . . pool clean. Only minor issue is that a number of small details missing in kitchen (but agency was responsive when this was brought to their attention). Good selection of pots and pans, but things like vegetable peeler, cup measures, serving spoons, etc were lacking. Would go back again in a heart beat!

Great location! Short stroll to the beach. Located in a secluded part of the island, surrounded by other beautiful homes. Very clean and nicely decorated. Pool was our favorite, it had a little rock waterfall surrounded by lush tropical plants! Thank you for a wonderful vacation! We will be back!
