Perfect location for our overnight stay
Perfect location for our overnight stay.Minne and Chris were very helpful and responsive for our brief stay in Amsterdam on a layover. Minne walked us to a canal boat tour and recommended great restaurants for our stay. As previous reviewers had stated the bathroom/shower combo is small but the water was hot and we managed fine.The bed was large and very comfortable…we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location and perfect host
Amsterdam and be busy and noisy, but not at this location and with this host. He went above and beyond by walking us through the neighborhood and showing us out of the way spots that we would have never found on our own. We would definately book this property again.

Great location- wonderful experience
We came for the city’s art and this apartment was perfect. There were a lot of books and dvds to enhance our experience between museum visits. The host, Camillo, was helpful and responsive. Great restaurants and all so close to the transit.

Amsterdam Experiance
This property is as described as with most traditional houses in Amsterdam you are confronted with steep stairs which should be considered if of limited mobility but not a problem otherwise. Living area bright and comfortable for watching the world go by the location would be hard to better with quick easy access from the airport and station. The bedroom is a reasonable size but the large comfortable bed does take the full width of the room and the shower room whilst small provides what is needed. Breakfast if not eating in can be taken at the bar almost next to the front door there are also many excellent restaurants in the area. Overall very happy to recommend.

„ Canal View B&B Amsterdam Zentrum“
Unter der o.g. Bezeichnung habe ich das betreffende Apartment gebucht. B&B ist aber total irreführend, denn üblicherweise wird bei einem so formulierten Angebot auch Frühstück angeboten. So etwas ist für mich nicht seriös! Das Apartment als solches, besonders auch unter Berücksichtigung der Lage, ist absolut weiter empfehlenswert!

Stay in Amsterdam summer 2019
The property was very centrally located in the heart of Amsterdam and close to everything. We could walk from the apartment to almost everywhere and the trams were just round the corner. The amenities of the apartment was perfect and we wanted for nothing more. If we ever return to Amsterdam we will come back to the same apartment.

Beautiful Dutch walk up
Beautiful Dutch walk up. This property is in a wonderful section of Amsterdam called the ninth Street, surrounded on all sides by cafés restaurants canal boats and just about everything else Dutch. There is one warning though; this is a typical Dutch House with very very very steep and narrow steps up to the apartment which is on the third floor. If you have mobility problems this is not a good choice. In addition the bathroom shower has a slate floor which when wet is exceedingly slippery. Nonetheless we found this to be a wonderful place.

This was the perfect place to stay in Amsterdam!
The property owner sent us lots of information prior to our visit. The apartment was lovely overlooking a canal and a bridge. It was so enjoyable sitting and watching the people from the livingroom. The stairs are very steep but there are handrails on each side. The owner discouraged us, and rightly so, from bringing large luggage It would be very difficult to maneuver up the stairs. The kitchen was well appointed. The bathroom is all-in-one, but wasn't a problem. The neighborhood is awesome...many restaurants nearby. The tram is a short walk away. The Anne Frank house us an easy walk as well. I wouldn't hesitate to book this again!

Absolutely perfect!
This charming and very well appointed and conveniently located apartment overlooking a canal is in the midst of everything, but an oasis at the same time. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay special-numerous city and museum guides,, art books, classical music and recommendations of fabulous nearby places to eat. Enjoy as we did!

Spring in Amsterdam
My wife and daughter spent 3 days in Amsterdam this spring. The condo was perfectly located. Many attractions are within walking distance and there is also a tram stop within a block or two. The condo itself is just right for three people and well appointed. Minne was very accommodating and we had a delightful stay. Would definitely return (and hope to!).

Beautiful place in a great location
This property is everything we hoped it would be. Easy to restaurants, shops, tours and museums. The owner was professional, friendly and helpful with suggestions on transportation and things to see. If it’s your first visit to the city or your fifth you won’t be disappointed. However, if you have mobility issues the stairs the the second story location are extremely steep. .

El apartamento tiene de todo lo q puedas necesitar . Esta muy limpio y muy acogedor ... Muy bien situado para conocer cualquier punto de la cuidad a pie . El anfitrión ( Mine) es muy agradable y nos ayudó en todo lo q hizo falta explicándonos los puntos de la ciudad , actividades , gastronomía , etc .... lo dicho ... totalmente recomendable para pasar unos días en esta bonita e interesante ciudad

We had a very pleasant stay in Minnies apartment. It is extremely well equipped and clean and an ideal location within walking distance of the center of the city. i would not hesitate to recommend to anyone wishing to stay there

Excellent Choice
When we booked with Minne we had little idea how wonderful a choice we made. When we arrived, Minne allowed us to drop our bags early before check in. We were able to easily wander around the neighborhood before check actual check in time. As we went through the check in process with Chris, not only did he point out the amenities of the apartment which were more than adequate for a week's stay. But he took the time to point out many services in the neighborhood that would be useful and how to use the transit system to visit the main local attractions. The place was very clean but the best part was the location. Not only does the apartment afford lovely views of the canal but it is near the corner of a busy alleyway that provided interesting people watching, great bars, good food and very close to the tram. If I return to Amsterdam I will book there again!

Vista e posizione incredibili
La casa è posizionata sul canale Singel vicino a Spui: si è a pochi passi da tutto, sia dalle principali attrazioni turistiche, sia dai migliori ristoranti e bar e quindi non serve neanche l'abbonamento ai mezzi pubblici. La vista dal soggiorno poi è da cartolina: si vede il canale Singel con la cortina delle case tradizionali di Amsterdam sullo sfondo. Gli interni sono molto curati e pieni di fascino: arredi e pezzi di antiquariato e molti libri interessanti. L'accoglienza è stata ottima: Cristofer ci ha atteso nonostante il nostro arrivo a tarda ora e ci ha dato una miriade di suggerimenti utili per la visita della città. La cucina è ampia e molto ben accessoriata e consente di cucinare pasti anche eleborati. L'unica pecca sono le dimensioni del bagno e della camera un po' ridotte, ma visti gli altri vantaggi ci si adatta volentieri. Un tesoro in una città che è un gioiello architettonico!

Beautiful space, amazing location
We loved it here -- it's perfectly situated in the middle of Amsterdam but it also has a cozy neighborhood feel. The apartment is comfortable and clean and welcoming. We would love to stay here again.

Amsterdam immersion
Perfectly located on the tranquil Singel canal, the apartment is close to museums, shops and restaurants. It is comfortably sized for a couple, and filled with a sophisticated mix of furniture, music, books and art that reflects Dutch culture and design. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for cooking meals (including a Nespresso-style machine for oh-so-good coffee). The owner's extensive pre-arrival information is spot-on and upon arrival his friend Christoph spent the time to give us a local's insight on tickets, tours and shopping. We will definitely stay again!

Charming Apartment in Fantastic Location
There are so many appealing qualities of this rental that it is difficult to single one out: idyllic location on a picturesque canal; off the main tourist corridor but within easy walking distance of the city's attractions; interesting bakeries and restaurants very close by; a very attractive, clean and well-appointed apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay; an exceedingly gracious and responsive host (Minne) who devotes much energy in ensuring that your stay is comfortable and that you have copious, practical information about all the city and region have to offer. In short, a top choice for a top-notch apartment and host; highly recommended. (For an up-scale but not exorbitantly expensive meal, try the restaurant in the Ambassade Hotel, Herengracht 341, one block or so from the apartment.)

Muy bien situada, piso agradable y bien montado. Well situated and perfectly furnished
Casa muy bien situada, con muy buenas vistas al canal singel, se puede acceder facilmente a las zonas de mas interes de la ciudad. conexion con tranvía directo a Central Station y otras zonas. La casa esta perfectamente monrada, todo nuevo. El baño un poco pequeño pero suficiente. Eso si, las escaleras muy empinadas, (no se hasta qué punto es normal en las casas de Amsterdam). The apartament is very well situated and great views to canal Singel. Very easy and direct tram conection to Central Station and other parts of the Ciry. Anyhow you can go on walking very easily, short walking to everywhere. A supermarket is quite near and different restaurants, bar and cafes just around the corner. The flat is perefectly furnished, the bath maybe a quite small but enough. Very happy to be there and recommendable.

We absolutely loved this canal house. It was beautiful inside and was in the perfect location!
Our host made sure we had lots of information about the area, great restaurants and museums, and showed us everything on a map. The large bed was very comfortable and the whole apartment was classy. We walked everywhere from this property and would stay here again when we visit Amsterdam!
